GLENN GOING FROM KRON TO KPIX
KRON Sports anchor/reporter, Vern Glenn is taking his talents across town to KPIX, where he'll do weekend sports and reporting, according to a reliable industry source.
"It's about 85% a 'done deal'", added the source. "They're negotiating."
Glenn has been at KRON since 1990. He had anchored weekend sports primarily before KRON dumped sports a few years back.
Glenn's "Mr Involvement" on-going feature was one of his more popular segments and has developed a semi-cult following among Bay Area viewers.
No word on when Glenn is to begin his duties at KPIX and the status of weekend anchor, Kim Coyle.
