Update/Correction: Kohara/Kessler still at PIX; Notarangelo fills in AM show

UPDATE: A good source got it wrong.

Both John Kessler and Sydnie Kohara are on vacation, still at KPIX, although their roles have been changed. Ann Notarangelo anchors fills in the a different AM program.

UPDATE:  Kessler and Kohara are no longer at KPIX. From a former colleague:

                                                   ***************************

The "Early Edition" from 5-7 AM with John Kessler and Sydnie Kohara is no longer. Both of their bio's remain on the station's website, but they're definitely out in the morning. (Their roles have been altered, however)

In addition, a knowledgeable source who is familiar with the station speculated that "both are probably 'out." Pressed further, the source would not comment, only to say, "bad business right now--no doubt about it."

Ann Notarangelo is anchoring solo, (filling in) with a new set and format, and she alluded to it on her Facebook account.

This has been a rather turbulent week at KPIX as Emmy-winning, Investigative reporter, Anna Werner was let go in a financial move.

Repeated calls and e-mails to KPIX were not returned at press time.
