Sounds like a silly question since millions of people around the globe do so, but I know a lot of people who have tuned out. Excess Hollywood? Perhaps.
Sunday's show is supposed to be littered with many of the past winners, Streisand, Eastwood, and Robert DeNiro too, who's also nominated this year, (believe it or not, DeNiro hasn't won an Oscar since 1980's "Raging Bull").
I love Seth MacFarLane, but as an emcee for the show, I'm not sure. I wish the Academy could nail down a permanent host along the likes of the old Billy Crystal or Johnny Carson. (Give Letterman one more shot and forget his 1995 butcher performance).
And yes, Argo will clean up. A very good movie, but great? Hardly.
