  2. Jen Seelig haa been over her head since being promoted from her news producer position. She seems frantic and on edge most of the time, a clear sign that she has a little confidence. She's also petty and vindictive and favors lap dogs and toadies rather than competent broadcast journalists.

    1. A fatal mistake many companies make is promoting the most tenured employee. Time served and spent in one position, doesn't translate into success in another. Especially, one that requires almost intuitive, interpersonal skills. How well one relates to fellow staff and pressure. Frantic on edge? That's indecisiveness, lacking confidence.Correct. Petty and vindictive, favoring subordinates? Simple. They pose no threat to challenge her authority. Competent broadcasts journalist? Only illuminates her own incompetence. KCBS, like many others, due to poor decisions will never be able to capture its broadcast redux of yesteryear. The landscape has changed dramatically.
