  1. Eric was never meant to be a permanent replacement to Stan Bunger. He did a decent job and he's been in the business for decades. Time for a well deserved retirement.

  3. Blame Ming Sze and that rich Princess on Newsnation kicking him out to weekends

  4. They need Sal Castaneda now to save the day.

  5. Awww, always liked him, wished he'd stayed at KGO TV instead of J Glover

  6. Rich has been critical of Thomas, and he'll be critical of his replacement. If there's no replacement, he'll be critical of that too.

  7. Eric Thomas is the thrift store version of the guy from The Cosby Show who works at Home Depot.

  8. I know you don't like Steve Scott but he's a professional from the glory days of WCBS. They need someone like him or Mike Simpson (KNX) with some personality in morning drive. Anyway, you have a good fix on Thomas and the shortcomings at KCBS.

  11. I enjoyed Thomas in the morning. I was wondering why the last few weeks, he and Schaffer were rarely on together- one was always "off or coming in later in the morning.: I enjoy Schaffer also but by herself... even Thomas by himself is (was) not ideal. Here's a novel ideal... Let Zaragosa anchor with Schaffer in the morning. He does have energy for the morning.
