  1. Worst media market? No, more Ronn Owens.

  2. Bay area media knows nobody gives a damn about Owens and Laura. The media is brilliant in this case and you are the PR fool that has no life beyond your obsession.

    1. 4:52 PM, I agree with most of your post, except I would not call Rich a fool. Rather, he has the mind of a Reporter and the heart of a novelist.

    2. I've heard more about this Owens issue the past few weeks than I have over my entire lifetime, and I'm still not sure what the fascination is with him.

    3. I feel bad that Ronn poked Rich in the booty hole when he was 13 years old

  3. I’m curious what would you like Bay Area media to do about this. Personally I have no interest in the whole Ron Owen’s story. So my question is. How would you cover it. And how much coverage would you give it.

  4. Hey rich it’s me again asking you specifically how you’d cover it.
You’re the news director. Are you going to do a vo. A vo/sot. Or a package. How often would you cover the story. Would you send a reporter to Arizona which is where I think you said he lives. Who would you talk to. How would you investigate how the go find me money is being used. It’s easy to critique. Anyone can do that. But what specifically would you do if you were the News director. Honestly I’d love to hear a detailed answer from you. And I think your listeners would too

  5. Just wait for the first rain/ bomb cyclone then all those journalists can rush to the local hardware store and report on blue tarps running out of stock. It’s the same B.S. in Bay Area media year after year. But at least you can listen to babbling old fools like Willie Brown and Phil Matier pretending they are relevant.

  6. Why hasn't the local media reported that Gavin and the state legislature have not funded Proposition 36 that the voters passed in November 2024. Getting the news from KTLA, Inside California Politics, who interviewed San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan who expressed his disappointment.

  7. Why are you not answering the question about what you would do differently.
