  2. Talk about a "nothingburger" warning.
If you have a crappy news outlet, with no real news, you look for time fillers due to lack of programming content. As the case with KCBS, then you repeat it, to fill more time.
    That playbook is getting old.
The station is nothing more then termite ad propaganda mixed in with accident lawyer programming.
And that woman who is afraid of the IRS 🤣
    Shit Show Supreme 💩💩

  3. Hysterical? Would you say that if a real devastating tsunami did occur? You can't predict Mother Nature

    1. I don't think San Francisco has ever had a "devastating" tsunami in the past 300 years.
      No records of one ever.

  4. Don't always agree with Rich, but I'm so glad we have someone who tells how he feels. Not caring about feelings for someone else. Keep on a going Rich as Katherine Hepburn you to say.

  5. This is exactly what happens when you hire reporters who aren’t from here, don’t understand the area, and have zero grasp of local history. They panic over everything. Common sense goes right out the window. Meanwhile, the National Weather Service explicitly stated almost the start that waves in San Francisco weren’t expected to exceed one foot. I’ll trust the judgment of seasoned scientists over the hysteria of microphone-waving amateurs who don’t know Jackshit and wouldn’t recognize context if it slapped them in the face.

  6. KCBS web page is old news also. The staff photos are so outdated.

  7. Rich, sometimes you're funny/caustic and I laugh out loud...But, I have to take issue with your characterization of our KCBS coverage as hysterical...and I was one of the anchors on the other night/morning. We were totally on it with the information--that's the most important thing...timely, appropriate, accurate info. Since we DON'T get these warnings/advisories it's our job to educate and inform... I interviewed 2 meteorologists, a seismologist, and drew on my background in Oceanography and Geology. Our editor, producer, and PA's were veterans that night. Yep, the folks at the top are having their challenges at KCBS you got that right...BUT, It was super smart coverage that night Rich, and I was proud to be a part of that team.

  9. I agree with Alisa. She did a great job of interviewing the breaking news for the tsunami. The only thing they played her interviews for a few days which by then were outdated. Thumbs up for Alisa.
