I think SF Gate and the like took the place of tabloid magazines we used to see in grocery lines in our day. I think the younger generation is interested in this fluff like Randy’s Donuts of LA coming to the Bay Area I just saw on their site. Kind of like what Instagram, TicTok, etc. is all about for them. People my daughter’s age are not all that interested in the daily mostly bummer for them local and national news, as evident in tv news ratings. Who are we to tell them what is worth their interest?

Too stupid.If anyone thinks that I am talking out of my ass, I give you the following headline: The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) had proposed a "Grading for Equity" plan that would have allowed students to pass with a score as low as 21% and receive an A for a score as low as 80%, according to reports. They took some serious heat over this and reconsidered, but the fact remains: They still lowered the bar! So, next time you go to get your car serviced or board that aircraft...the idiot wrenching either one, was not the best, brightest and was probably high as a kite! Equity doesn't give a shit about a shoddy engine pylon assembly or loose lug nuts. Advice: Travel by rail. Trust me.
