Rich, the "news'' is unwatchable because the networks refuse to deliver factual unbiased reporting. The reporters are merely the visual systemic rot within the industry. Apathy on display. They know they are on life support and will soon be as relevant as a pencil sharpener in this digital age.
When I was on the street and I would spot a female reporter I didn't recognize I'd look for lines on her face. If she had some it meant she had experience, probably in a couple of smaller markets and was ready for a major market like SF. I was never wrong. That's why Vickie and Catherine "the brain" have so much credibility.
Claudine Wong and Mike hard to watch rather watch Alex and Heather. Dan and Ama the best couple on TV, happy anchors. KRON 4, who are those reporters at 10PM, they should put Morning Anchor on prime time. NBC 11, don’t care don’t like Raj from Day 1 and that smirky reporter started on weekends and went to daytime divorcing her nursing ex hubby. Finally finally, KPIX, total mess, who is that guy from 8-10PM. If Dion Lim went to KPIX, morning spot or 8-10 spot.
I think she's like the character Milton in the movie "Office Space". They don't know what to do with her? If she has a red stapler she is fond of...it would be ill advised to take it from her.
oh really: Mike is the best, but I have bolted to Dan at 7, for I can't stand the weather reporter whom you, Rich have refereed to as Elmira. Gonzales is a media whore. Really, 7 seems about the most stable of them all.

KPIX is Devin Fehely. He’s the definition of anchor that most people on KPIX are not.
