CBS would never put a no-name like Juliette Goodrich in Norah O'Donnell's seat. Never in a million years. And yes, beyond San Francisco, Goodrich is a total no-name. I hate the CBS Evening News now with it's current format and anchors but they at least have national name recognition. Goodrich doesn't.
That's just CBS desperately filling their live stream with anything they can find that didn't cost them extra money to produce. Local yocals can pretend they're on national tv when they're really thrown into the abyss of digital.
@3:58 Streaming is NOTHING. The audience that turns into the CBS Evening News knows almost nothing about CBS 24/7. And the audience that watches the CBS Evening News is still orders of magnitude over the people who watch CBS 24/7.

Liz would do way better then the current CBS evening news. The one white guy, one black guy and some random woman format is down right weird and goofy. Must pander to everyone I guess?
People still watch the national fake news networks? Seriously? After they're no longer credible with low IQ anchors? Like Gayle king, margaret Brennan etc? SMFH
