Coach Murph and his co host were talking about Brice making the starting lineup based on a 430 ft. spring training HR. He struck out 3 times yesterday against the A's :)
I would argue that listeners would listen to KNBR if the Giants were a good or exciting team and if the hosts knew more than the generic talking points about baseball. Some of the listening fans may be in the 70s, like you said, but some are like me who no longer have to commute to work, so listening to KNBR or any sports talk radio is few and far between since that was part of my drive time listening.

ReplyDeleteLocal sports talk is terrible. It's not just KNBR. Sacramento has Sactown Sports, which is not bad and is probably the best thing in the Bay Area.
