Wayne NightTrain Shannon was a likable goofball, he opined like his opinion mattered but frequently he was just making shit up that didn’t really matter. Too bad he offed himself. Life is not always one big joke.
Rich, please ask Ross about going to the nudist colony when he & Ann Fraser wen to do People Are Talking in the buff. That took some "cajones". No pun intended but I think it would be a great anecdote.
Those glory days are sadly behind us, especially at KRON. It breaks my heart to see how Nexstar is destroying that station, and that horrible general manager they have. I was speaking with an employee of KRON just yesterday who was addressing the unprofessional behavior of their GM. I guess he has been overheard making offensive jokes during work hours to senior leaders. How slimy. He is not very well liked. Sounds like he’s only there to do Nexstar’s bidding and damn everyone else.
Jim Rose and his boss Matt Rosenfeld are both incompetent mean spirited arrogant individuals who created their own narcissistic fantasy world of how great they are……ask them how many times they have engaged with the Bay Area Community…..None.
Remember him well. I was more of a Stanley Roberts '' People Behaving Badly" guy. Loved his segments on KRON.
