Less wrinkles and pancake than KTVU acumen. And sorry, Rich, if you try and feel her magic, you could end up with public room and board until your last breath!
Who's the lucky, gorgeous pitty bull? Rich, generations and times have changed....People younger than you or me post fun pics on various social media sites...It's not evil.
2:52 "retort" my rear. She's got two cool dogs. Most Americans dig dogs. That's why you often see a story about dogs ending a newscast. Mr. Lieberman doesn't like dogs, has likely never had one. Were this anchor/reporter clad similarly, but with skin of cocoa hue, he's be gushing and you know it.
Mr. Lieberman, I’d like to preface my remarks by establishing that I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog each day. It’s become ritual reading for me and I thank you for that kind sir. With that having been said, I don’t think it’s necessarily wrong for news people to share aspects of their life on social media. Not everything must be so buttoned up. As someone above pointed out, it’s likely a generational thing but not necessarily a bad thing. What I do, however, take issue with are juveline, uninteresting, tacky, and attention-seeking photos such as those that Starrantino posts. She’s not the only one though. Too often local news people use their tv jobs as a way to satisfy their desire for attention and/or publicize their other endeavors and aspirations. Starrantino, Mary Lee, Sara Donchey, Rosemary Orozco, and others all have established money-making endeavors on the side. And then there are many, many more who hope that their tv job will be a stepping stone to a future as a ‘social media influencer.’ Unfortunately I think this trend is here to stay.
Aging better than the donkey? Clearly you haven’t seen Starrantino in person. She’s not recognizable much less attractive without the 8 lbs of makeup she wears on tv each day.
My picks for best looking are Liviakis, Heenan and although technically not a news anchor Olivia Horton (I appreciate her shoe selection mostly showing off those perfect feet)
Have you seen Ms. Starrantino without makeup, au naturale? I have, and I can assure you the only thing Rich is envious of are the profits cosmetic companies rake in based entirely on all the crap Starrantino puts on her face.
I’ve noticed that women on tv often post lovey dovey photos with their significant others. Sometimes I wonder if it’s their way of letting men know that they’re taken and otherwise unavailable. With the prevalence of social media, one can only imagine the number of propositions and messages that even moderately attractive news women receive. While we all know men will be aggressive regardless, perhaps women feel that making their relationship status known through such photos will serve as a deterrent for some, which in their mind is better than nothing.
Starrantino looks WAY older than her actual years, of just turning 30 a couple of months ago. That being said, just yesterday, Thursday morning, she had on something TIGHT, and she looked SMOKIN', at least, from the neck down! For me though, her feet are too big, but I've seen her butt on those promos that KPIX does for their anchors, the one where she is walking on the beach, and her butt does make her worth watching. As for the thread here where people say who the best looking anchors are, well, that's a tough one because there are better looking reporters than the anchors! BUT, one who I think is just totally HOT, is Jocelyn Moran on KPIX in the mornings. I mean, WOW!

Is that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway?
ReplyDeleteLooks like it.
DeleteShe is aging better than watching Sara Donkey and her tattoos
ReplyDeleteHardly.

Deletewhy do you care ? you seem more than a little jealous.
ReplyDeleteRussell Wilson has a new beard?
ReplyDeleteoops. the guy doesn't have a tie...call the fashion from the olden days police.
ReplyDeleteAnd we’re finding problems with this because..? Good grief. Haters be hating.
ReplyDeleteA. Starrantino is the best looking anchor on the local news and beyond local. I'm glad KPIX hired her. How is she to work with?
ReplyDeleteStarrantino, Gasia, Haener and Kristen Sze are the best looking local anchors.
DeleteBest looking in my book would be Gasia, Liz Kreutz, Sara Donchey, and Elizabeth Cook.
DeleteMy picks for most attractive female news anchors are
DeleteAudrey Asistio, Sara Donchey, Janelle Wang, Gasia, and Vicki Liviakis

She needs the war paint but at least she knows how to put it on and the transformation is admirable.
DeleteIs this guy her boyfriend? OR just another reporter?

ReplyDeleteHer feet are too big??? How can you tell on TV? Talk about picking nits.
DeleteIf I had to choose I’d go with big feet rather than tiny feet is she bigger than a size 10?
DeleteJocelyn Moran should anchor in the evenings. She’s beautiful.
DeleteMy question is how much makeup is the guy wearing?
ReplyDeleteIs that Starrantino's brother? He appears to be wearing 14 lbs of makeup just like Amanda. Must run in the family.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of her myself, but this post is so salty.
ReplyDeleteIn the words of Ms. swift, “haters gonna hate hate hate hate.” I hope she keeps sharing her joy.
