KCBS/KGO Radio Don't Carry White House/Fauci News Conference

THIS IS WHY I CAN'T (some days) take KGO and KCBS seriously.

The WHITE HOUSE held a news conference this morning with DR. FAUCI and several other BIDEN adm. officials --subject matter was the J&J halting (temporarily) of its one-dose vaccine. Major news. Major concerns. Vital developments and a major issue involving the COVID situation, right?

NOT to KCBS and KGO --BOTH chose NOT to carry the PRESSER and that's not how to act as if you're NEWS organizations.

KQED and NPR did carry the newser, as did BLOOMBERG RADIO (960 AM).

  1. KGO radio is NOT a news organization. It was once, but hasn't been, forever.

    1. Since when? Since it let go of its all-star cast? Honest question.

  2. People are tired of hearing the old man read prepared statements from a teleprompter.

  3. Because KCBS and KGO broadcast headlines, and NPR and KQED broadcast the details. Nothing new here.

  4. Broadcast news is no more. Everyone ala 1:14 are stupendously stupid. I bet if trump told him to drink the kool-aid, he along with all his followers would drink it. People like that aren't needed on this earth, they'll soon die off like the dinosaur, only difference, the dinosaur didn't know the difference.

Unless it's something immediate and simple like a massive fire or accident that closes down a freeway, I haven't taken them seriously since the day I arrived in the Bay Area.

  6. I can't stand Fauci's attention hoing any more. On rare occasions, the J&J vaccine appears to produce blood clots in women of childbearing age. Distribution is being paused pending investigation.

  7. What's going on with KGO with this decision?

  8. Definitely, both should have aired the news conference on this important subject. It is far more newsworthy than, "Ask an Expert".
