OH DO I KNOW WHAT'S COMING

Thanks SF Chronicle.

And now? ABC7 --The hits keep on coming. (thanks Cibrowski --say hi to Trixie)

AND MORE! KPIX too; thanks to the ND who can't stop talking about me on his Zoom conferences. I think he's infatuated.

And you all in 3, 2, 1...

One of these days I'll scribble something. In the meantime I'm busy reading Russian Soccer box scores.

  1. You have been poking the proverbial hornet's nest for years about female media-ites and how they look...is this some surprise to you?

Stand tough, your brand will grow, I guess

Here is the exposure you wanted! Let's see how it goes

  2. Cancelled!

At least you got some publicity.

  3. ...my gawd, we're talking veneers (several hundred-thousand dollars worth of work...)... her editorial assistant (a man, of course...) pulling her cleavage point DOWN to ... air them out ...

  4. So I like a nice set of cans on my journalists, is there anything wrong with that?

You have my permission to use that in your updated article, Chron.

  5. I haven't heard of 75% of the women that signed that letter.

Nikki Medoro signed it. I can't roll my eyes fast enough.

    1. Notice, when reading who signed the letter, that "Horse Face" did NOT sign it! We all know Horse Face is Jobina Fortson..

    2. Nikki Medoro would likely sign anything placed in front of her. Especially when it was upside down.

    3. The question is did niki medoro's obnoxious kids sign it too?

  8. I find it amusing that a current morning radio talker is on that list considering when she was with her former co-host they would verbally berate, mock, and basically talk massive amounts of shit about huge segments of the population that they didn't agree with politically.

Oh but now we're offended? Please.

    1. I used to turn the channel every time Nikki and Chip were on. It was the only way to stop the ear bleeding and save my IQ.

  9. I think there's been just as many comments about Dan Ashley's hair color and Ken Bastida's smoking habits on here as there are about Heather Holmes or whoever. Twitter is worse when it comes to judgement. Keep doing you. This is honestly the best blog.

  10. I'm here because of the article had to see the winnebago debate and decide for myself. I'm old enough to remember joe bob briggs in the pink section and Tom Stienstra actually being able to talk about hunting and fishing, before the bay area got a stick up it's ass. Think I'll stick around a while. Misogynistic lost any meaning a while ago...

  11. But the real story, the one about Tom Cibrowski being so thin skinned that because you called him chubby and lazy he seized on this Guilfoyle story bugaboo and crafted this letter and pressured his female staffers to sign it and be the face of it in the name of misogyny to take you down. Now that's a story you should be writing. His name was on the email that went out to stations asking women to sign this petition. Yes he used his influence as their boss at KGO to get them to sign it and then directed them to send it to others. Truth bomb dropped. You think ABC brass is ok with that? Cibrowski could have just set himself up for a fall. Hello HR Department? But good news, his over fed ass will be there to cushion that fall. So what's worse? Your comments or him using women in his employ as human shields to attack people?

  12. These distinguished journalists worked days, even weeks to get to where they are. They deserve to be taken seriously!

  13. So all of these journalist are worried about your comments about them but they nothing to their bosses about the Misogynist Click bait that is at the bottom of the articles on their website, Ladies of ABC7 have you gone to the management and complained about click bait "Look at what Tiger woods wife looks like now" "Girls ready to Date now" "Remember Cheryl Ladd in a swimsuit?" that are below this very article on your website?

Of course not because those ads help pay your inflated salaries for reading a prompter. These ads appear on KTVU.com, nbcbayarea.com, abc7news.com. KPIX is the only local station that is not littered with these Ads on their site.

  14. Frankly I think this blog would be better if ALL personal attacks were left out, why write about someone's personal life, or habits (a certain former KGO morning host getting a manicure) or looks. I suppose it is entertaining to some, but I don't care. So Brian Copeland married white women, who cares, so Ronn Owens is vain I don't care. When I turn on the radio (I rarely watch local TV) I want to me informed, entertained, amused and engaged, if a host manage that I will continue to turn into his/her show, no matter there looks (which of course don't matter on radio) personal screwed up life etc.

  15. The 415 Media Blog has more credibility at the tip of its fingernails than the Screaming Banshee at last week's RNC begging to be the Dictator-in-Chief's daughter-in-law ever will in her lifetime.

That said, Rich, you might want to use a whole lot more discretion. One bit of good news out of that letter - not all KGO-TV personalities signed this letter. And while I can see multiple KTVU personalities signing a similar letter, I can't see that from KNTV or KPIX, even in the latter's case, from those you have criticized.

  16. I'm with ya', Rich! Your credibility has been well documented. The only report you have gotten wrong, was when you said Eric Thomas was going to retire by last Christmas 2019. He is obviously still there. But you have been right on so many things, such as the Natasha Zouves situation, and when news anchors are leaving, and the new ones coming in. Keep it up, Rich!
