THEY ALL SEEM TO LOVE EACH OTHER: Hell no.
The Circle7 morning rancor is supposed to be at an all-time high; no wonder, just the main news anchor, Reggie Aqui is a certifiable pain in the ass. Aqui is giddy and full of jokes off camera but despised by all the anchors and of-air personnel still at the KGO studios. That's just part one of the drama.
Jobina Fortson and Kumasi Aaron, "live" desk anchor (Fortson) and news anchor, (Aaron) are at a Star Wars ego crossroads: Fortson wants Aaron's gig and Aaron is trying mightily to ward off the onslaught. This is making quite a daily morning scene.
Meanwhile, a wimpy Mike Nicco continues to make unfunny jokes on the air to be relevant, I guess; even the bozo, Aqui thinks the jokes are corny and forced. They too hate each other. Talk about birds of a feather..
The truth is, no one really gives a damn. The KGO morning presentation is a DUD, ratings-wise and the fact the inmates are running the asylum? Nobody cares. An MIA GM and DETESTED ND, Trixie, doesn't help matters either.

Hey Rich Man. I remember your post here about Aaron, and I totally agreed with you there, so there is NO DANG WAY that Fortson would ever be able to take the anchor job away from Kumasi Aaron. I mean I don't even know how that horse-face Fortson got on the air to begin with! Everytime she does that horse smile of hers, I am always compelled to yell "Whoa, Nellie; naaaaayyyyyyyyy"...
ReplyDeleteBefore Trixie came they had a pretty good morning show; not the best, but watchable and decent. Now it's a circus. Yet she stays. Her position of power is more consolidated by the day.

I've tried watching a few times, but now it's an instant turn-off. A real mess!
ReplyDeleteGeez, you can't win for nothing in this market. It might beat watching Fox News, which is slanted more than a San Francisco hill. Or KTVU with that Gas Bag who comes on a 7 am. KRON 4 has Darya and her ding-a-lings on her chest. KPIX is a bore. At least KNTV tries to play it straight on the surface. Who am I kidding? It all sucks sour balls.
ReplyDeleteThey can ditch all of them as far as I am concerned. Except Reggie Aqui. He is a good anchor and has a nice on-air persona.
ReplyDeleteSorry there is a battle to be Marie to counter Donny. Didn't think Aaron and Fortson would be pitted against each other like that.
ReplyDeleteAware of RL's post about Trixie being to close to one of the HQ's executives. And the GMA ratings folks have no power to improve their Bay numbers. Dudsville, indeed.
When is this TV show on the air? Anyway it is on the same channel as The View.....should tell you something.

From that picture, they DEFINITELY need more Asian women on that set ... imagine the fireworks when Black and Asian women start nappin' at each other ... Kristie, where ARE you? How about getting VDLC on the set?
