'Super Mom' Ex-KGO Radio Producer Daphne Brogdon's Friendly Passion

Daphne Brogdon

YEAH, Daphne Brogdon is a successful TV personality, mega-star, ultimate social media engineer, a big to-do, master diva queen and uber-success. Only one thing and it's huge: what the bio doesn't say: her KGO Radio era when she engaged in affairs with some of the station's biggest stars including one who loves cruising.

Personally, I couldn't care less who Brogdon was sleeping with I just have to laugh she's got a mom blog to promote long the way.

Pardon me while I gather all this...

  2. I guess it is true what Gertrude Stein once said about sunrises being a beautiful thing...but it really depends on the end of the day in which they are being viewed.

  3. KGO Radio Producer Daphne Brogdon.
More evidence that KGO is a racist radio station.
Where are the producers of color ?

    2. Outside of all of Brian Copeland's children?

Sorry to burst your selective outrage there.

    3. so 11:54 is a white hating racist? In any event, didn't the offspring of Brian Copeland work for years as producers? They are of mixed race, like Barack Obama. Does that count? Terry Adams, also a longtime producer at KGO, and still African American.Who knew?

    4. How would you know what color a radio producer even is? Do you stop by and look? Call in and ask?

I used to be assigned to job fairs back in the 1990s, and by "job fairs" I mean code for "hire all black people who come." Problem is, none ever came. Often we stood around all day with only white people dropping off their tapes and resumes. We smiled and thanked them and said we'd be in touch, but we never would, and we threw the tapes away. What a waste. All to recruit "talent" that wasn't there.

Now, do you think basketball teams have to go looking for people of color? Or do you think blacks break doors down trying to get in? Why do we keep trying to force blacks into things they're not interested in. If "producers of color" want to work at at radio station, all they need do is interview. Seriously, I used to work in hiring, it's really that easy. If they want "an education" instead of funding police, all they need to do is attend college, the thing they don't seem to have money for, even though they have money for Yeezys and rap concerts and rims on their sports cars. Funny, that.

  6. I took a glance at her blog, "coolmom". It should be renamed "boringmom". Her latest vlog entry seems to indicate her marraige is kaput. Hopefully, she still has that little black book from her KGO "gettin' around"days.
