I LIKE ALLISON RODRIGUEZ on KTVU--said as much and gave her advice.
It's hard for make yourself sane and relaxed in the big city. Rodriguez has a step up on the little boys at Jack London Square, which is a big deal.
They don't know how to comport and be welcome mats for the new kid on the block, especially one that can make the room like Allison.
You can say she's off to a great start--and she is--and that's saying a lot because there' added pressure.
Already in the mix --besides ogleitus from one of the veteran schmuckos: a certain femme fatale (she thinks) who CAN'T STAND the fact that so much attention is on Countess Allison. Yeah, and it's beginning to cause severe turbulence.
Just wait till it gets even more notice.
She came from Phoenix so she's cheap. That's her appeal. She's here, she's decent and she's cheap. Sadly that's all it takes in SF media these days. NEXT....
ReplyDeleteValuable information for prospective media employees in this area. On the resume and in the job interview, emphasize that you are cheap.
DeleteStepping Stone for something better down the road. Looks like she has colored contacts, if she does brown eyes look better.
DeleteSF used to be a market you tried to get to and stay in. But now the pay vs. cost of living here is so awful that people get it on their resume and head to a better paying market. Notice KTVU can't keep any of their second string for long. They come here, get the experience and go to LA, Seattle etc. There is no top 10 market that pays worse than SF. Which is all fine until the A Team at KTVU retires in the next few years. That's when it's all going to get very interesting ratings wise. They have no retention plan and have been on auto pilot for years. Batter up KGO.
