415 Media Exclusive: Fox/KTVU Settles Possible Legal Suit by Intern Over Sexual Harrassment Allegations

AN American-born woman of Iranian descent who interned at KTVU recently was about to file a sexual harassment  claim when the Fox-owned station settled with the woman, a 28 year-old who worked at the station for at least two years --roughly 2016 through 2018, 415 Media has learned through a station source familiar with the situation.

The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the information they provided was "extremely sensitive."

The woman had had multiple affairs with some of KTVU's biggest-named air talent; even though, according to the source, the affairs were consensual, Fox decided it would be more prudent to put the matter to rest rather then risk a lawsuit and possibly embarrassing information and monetary loss from a lawsuit.

  1. Yeah, this is what happens today and has been happening for a couple of decades now. People who have no retirement plan, come up with sexual allegations that may or may not be bogus. They threaten or actually sue, in order to not go to court, but to settle so they have a retirement fund. Most companies do not want to go to court, so they settle. I have seen this happen many times, and it is disgusting, for those who still work there, and know the truth of what happens. I don't know anything about what happened at KTVU, but I do know this kind of thing happens in corporate America all the time. But it is progressively worse nowadays, with sexual allegations being thrown all over the place, most of which are he said/she said, with no proof. Heck, just look at what happened within the past couple of weeks, with Bill Cosby's insurance company settling one of the sexual abuse allegations against him, despite his still denying it happened. They settled because they did not want it going to court. Just shameful...

I doubt a 28-year-old intern was thinking about retirement...

    2. Yep. Sounds like "retirement" was the furthest thing from her mind!

  2. Multiple? As in banging more than 1??

Reminds me of a certain California Senator with the same name as a wrestler.

  4. Having sex with a subordinate consensual or not exposes one to sexual harassment liability. Like it or not. And don’t blame victim. Read your employee handbook or complete your company’s harassment course. And don’t complain about “..oh, back in the day”, because those days are long gone.

  5. A 28-year-old intern? Pretty terrible look for the KTVU. Interns don't have the same rights or status as regular workers, this is like a professor having a relationship with a student. The student may be of age, but the power dynamic should preclude any superior (which every regular employee is) from any non-professional interactions with an intern. Where the hell was that lady from HR?

  6. Hey, one of the KTVU anchors banged me back in the day. Whichever one you want, they did it! Now can I have a fat check too?

  7. Based on your information your provided I found out who is the intern. Not bad looking except what a shame using sexuality to grab a permanent position with connections doubling the intern age.

The male anchor should be a very well known anchor recently had an ugly divorce and the station must cover this up just to protect this anchor and 30+ years of trusted news. The other anchor already left the station ASAP making the right choice before he looses everything by accepting a low pay wage. This anchor work for a station Direct TV customers aren't able to watch during a recent contract issue. The final anchor was let go a few years back or terminated and no longer work as a reporter, but all TV station can interview him if his company is on the news. All 3 anchors I just mention are top anchors and 2 no longer part of KTVU.

Smart people should know who I am talking about based on all the information Rich provided today and earlier.

  8. Rich...It wasn't multiple people at the station....just Frank Somerville. Everyone here knows he's done this before too. How he keeps his job is just another big cover up by FOX. At least his wife figured it out and left him.

  9. 28 year old intern. Hanging around for a couple of years. Schtups multiple co-workers then pulls the #metoo card. While anybody who jumped in the sack with her is pretty stupid -- make no mistake -- she's a piece of crap as well.

  10. Honestly, she sounds really dumb or extremely trashy ... maybe both. That doesn't mean, of course, that the pathetic collection of "... some of KTVU's biggest-named air talent ..." weren't sleez personified. A ho and her bros.

May I remind you this is the same station that brought us....

  12. No wonder Frank get Fridays and Saturdays off so he can have his secret relationship on America's party nights curtesy of cover up management supporting his secret relationship. Time to let him go and very happy for Gasia, who is younger not working with him or else, you never know.

The rumor girl looks like Natasha Zouves without the square face and big lips. Sadly, we cannot reveal the Farsi woman name.
