Great news, what a spectacular idea, just plain, damn genius --Greg Papa, the Buffalo boor and John Lund, juvenile human pubic hair himself back on the radio in July on KNBR, little sister of the poor audio jungle with morons running the asylum.
Papa used to work with Lund on the FM station and their program was essentially toilet humor for three hours. Sports-talk was a rumor. It was tripe-dreck suited for drunk louts with no home and whose job it was to make license plates and shoot heroin
Papa, I guess, loves Lund because he makes him feel safe. Without a trace of credibility, Lund has developed into an A-grade schmuck --he's about as dim-witted and shit-headed as they come. I have NO IDEA why he'd be back with Papa whose about to broadcast 49ers football--I'm sure the sponsors just can't wait. I'm guessing Lund was both dumb and obnoxious enough and probably high on Papa's list so KNBR has an excuse: they wanted to make boorish Greg happy.
One day, Lund will get his comeuppance and inevitably KNBR, the 49ers by extension, and Papa will have to explain some doofusness down the road. There's no chance that Lund will zip his mouth because he has no shame, it's like a horse ignoring an apple.
You would think KNBR and its band of ignoramuses would know this but KNBR is led by a guy who got the gig because he has a beard and 12,000 tattoos and thinks Train is a cool band, dude!
I haven't written about the new KNBR threesome orgy because I've been busy with my newest flame, Lil Kim, but one day soon, I'll comment on the rubbish --and boy is it rubbish but KNBR deals in that gourmet meal, it's their specialty.

ReplyDeleteBREAKING NEWS 2: There's this wonderful thing called satellite radio that actually has stations which focuses on general stuff and on specific sports. No need for stupidity or silliness or dick jokes.
Yeah, you have to pay for it. But remember, you get what you pay for with conventional radio.
Radnich's farewell show is Friday, I understand.

But once again, WHY OH WHY IS POWLIE MAC STILL ON KNBR? Does he have photos of Lee Hammer with an intern or something?
How does anyone listen to murph & mac? Constant talking over each other. Sometimes those two "dudes" ( they love saying dudes) & woman talking at same time. I've moved to 95.7 the Game. (I do like Marc Willard show though).

Gary played smug with a twinkle in his eye, Papa plays smug because he thinks he's better than you. He seems genuinely unlikable.
ReplyDeleteRich, you're spot on with John Lund and the dick jokes. With the presence of Alex Dickerson with the Giants, it was non-stop dick for over an hour. Dick must've come out of his mouth at least 120 an hour. Maybe that's the problem.....if one stayed in there it might muffle his teenage banter.
