Legal Source: Foul Play Probable in Taliaferro MIA Case

Image result for ray taliaferro missing I TALKED to a legal guy today; I asked him what are the chances that Ray Taliaferro is still alive: Said the legal guy: "I'd say there's an excellent chance he's dead.'"

He went on to say that he hoped he was wrong but that as time moves on and he's (Taliaferro) not been found, the situation becomes more dire, obviously.

The last time Ray was seen was Nov. 10th--18 days ago. I've not heard one word publicly, even from law enforcement officials about the possibility of foul play.

Said the lawyer: "He could have fallen down some remote hill in the mountains and be dead or survived at the time and in distress."

He could also have been robbed and attacked. We don't know, I get it. But we live in a world where there's surveillance cameras everywhere. DNA. Forensic evidence. It's hard to fall off the face of the earth.

Yet Ray Taliaferro hasn't been heard or seen going on almost three weeks now.

Sad. Strange.

  3. FOX had the report last night on KTVU. I believe they said the reason he was in that part of the country was his wife of "6 months" just inherited property and they were there to check it out. What are the odds he got in his car and left and headed back to SF getting lost? Who knows.

  4. I was half awake when I turned on KCBS and heard an interview of a concerned Belva Davis. The story said Ray got married without people knowing. If that's the case, where is his wife?

  5. No, I would not say foul play is "probable" given the fact that police say they were no signs of foul play.

The most probable explanation is that he wandered off. That is very common with dementia patients. The wife herse!f confirmed this as they were inspecting a property and Ray drove off while she was in the back yard. Few hours later Ray was spotted on video talking to a minister at a church 10 miles away.

Is there a double standard at play here? If the 'missing person' was a young white girl, might local law enforcement & the FBI be just a tad more aggressive with their investigations? Attitude adjustment anyone? "Well sir, sir, sir, sir, I'm going to have to pipe you down. How dare you call this 50,000 watt station here in the middle of the night. Who the hell do you think you are? Get off my show!! GO TO HELL! And don't call me again. I only have very highly intelligent and articulate callers." (One of Ray's classic responses). And since Ray was also a dj with his annual jazz show, it's absolutely appropriate to play the Kinks, "Around the Dial" with the volume turned up quite loud. Rich, please consider a separate blogpost featuring this tune in Ray's honor...

    1. No, no double standard. Only in your mind that has been warped to think racism at every turn by the liberal lefties you love so much. Sad.

    2. Todays headlines: "UPDATE: 78-year-old man may be most prolific serial killer in US history..."

A black man. To take a page out of your playbook, is there a double standard at play here? If the 'most prolific serial killer in US history' was a white man, might local media be a tad more aggressive in their covering this story? Barely any mainstream coverage.

  7. If he was just married there has to be a marriage record where ever they were living. Shouldn't be hard to find his wife and track her down. Hate to say it, but did she open a life insurance policy on him?

If he's been missing she should have gone to the police and file a missing persons report.

  8. What kind of a woman marries a senile old man like Ray. There's gotta be a money angle to all this.

  9. dear uppercut and tyrone. You would not be any good as private investigators. We know he is missing, precisely because his wife filed a missing persons report. You presume that that she is not his age. Why? Do you know any fact about her, at all?

    1. I know nothing about her. What has she said or done during this time? Who is she? Where is she? And what has she reported? I never presumed her age or intentions. Where is she?
