As You Watch Hurricane Michael Devastate Florida Panhandle Think of How Measly Our Weather Is; KTVU New Set; No One Cares; Luckoff Uber-Stewing over Swanson KGO Gig (Again)

Image result for Michael hurricane I SEE THE IMAGES in Florida now and I see real weather no matter how potentially devastating Hurricane Michael will be; then I think how much time and energy we devote to our measly weather conditions here.

I know one thing: if I had a choice for the weather guy describing the scene, I'd choose Paul Deanno.

*KTVU is one day soon about to debut a new set. It'd be good if the people inside the building cared enough about it. That's the last thing on mostly everyone's mind.

*Yeah, Jack Swanson and Mickey Luckoff had a notorious fallout a few years back; Luckoff was pissed that Swanson stayed on at KGO --before even Cumulus took over in 2011, Citadel owned KGO Radio and Luckoff had had enough.

Today, Luckoff is still stewing and apparently has uber-stewed now that his once-buddy, Jack is back at KGO trying to reinvent the 810 AM wheel in some miracle iteration.

When two egos as big as these guys intersect there's a huge combustible engine in the front mirror.

  1. KTVU needs to pick a date to debut the set when their primetime anchors are actually there. Julie takes off so much time, its not even funny. Its honestly rare that Frank, Julie, Bill, and Mark are all there on a given night. KTVU also has a new morning reporter who started this week, coming from FOX 40 Sacramento.... I hope they debut the new set soon though, I'm tired of the sports coming from the newsroom. As for their new set for the 9, the 4, and noon news, clean the windows.... Seriously water residue is so clearly seen

  3. Ray Ratto has zero self respect. My TV screen can no longer contain him. How much larger can he get?

  4. KGO Radio would do well to bring back the "Lion of the Left"... Bernie Ward.
