KGO-TV Jolt!Big Meeting this afternoon at 900 Front
Not official but close...Bill Burton OUT as GM....and get this, Tracey Watkowski IN as new GM.
Watkowski as GM is not confirmed but sources say its "done deal."
We'll see how that plays in the newsroom.

Say WHAT?!? Ok, I may understand BB out, but putting in TW as GM after the Ishimaru debacle makes NO sense. BTW, does this move have to do with Wendy McMahon being promoted to Prez O&O's from ABC LA?

ReplyDeleteWhat "crimes" (besides Trixie bullying rank-and-file workers) are being committed there now.
DeleteWhen I worked there it was the happiest, most productive newsroom in the Bay Area (and I've worked at them all). They were also number one in many slots. Then they brought back Darth Moll and now the numbers are slipping and the morning show is a parody of a parody. So they promote her. Typical idiots.
Only if Ashley and Finney are okay with this. Otherwise, this is beyond stupid because of her poor relations with staff.
