It has nothing to do with a medical ailment --that's what was spouted by Zouves and management.
415 Media has learned, through two station sources, the real reason: turns out Zouves has been leaving because she's told the big suits she's getting bullied by a well-known colleague: Kristin Sze.
Sze, according to one Insider, "makes Cheryl Jennings look like 'Mother Theresa." Ouch.
Zouves works the early morning shift and would normally leave 900 Front around noontime; right around the time Sze concludes her 11 AM newscast and prepares for early evening newscast duties.
Sze is known as "super Diva" at KGO and she's also pissed off Eric Thomas.
We'll keep our eyes and ears open for further details when they become available.

ReplyDeleteTotally agree here. The thing is too, that Natasha is the up-and-comer, whereas Sze is barely hanging on, although she is supposedly a "hit" when working with Dan Ashley. But Natasha could just stand up to Sze, and Sze would be able to do nothing about it. Natasha IS a bigger star in the making. Sze needs to get her teeth fixed. Her smile is WAY too gummy!

DeleteHmmm. Rich hasn't mentioned that Donny & Marie have had good ratings. Plus, Dion Lim is doing a good job during Ama Daetz's maternity leave. How long is Sze locked in? And didn't the bigwigs at Disney demand changes at Circle 7? (Of course, likely ignored by ----starter Burton.)
ReplyDeleteGood Job, Kristen. Finally someone is speaking out against Natasha never even qualified to serve as morning anchor. Even if she is bullied does not give her special privileges to leave early when she also does the 11AM News unless Natasha herself got some serious back-up. Pointless if true she comes to work 2 hours early, but paying her 8 hours to leave early being bullied is a waste for KGO7. Kristen definitely hate her for stealing her job, but wait.....this does not mean Kristen is a nice good person. I bet a person like Kristen who tries to take over the evening news spot also hate two reporters, Ama for getting the entire evening spotlight and the current Dion Lim stealing her Mon, Tues and maybe, Wed news spot that belongs to Kristen. I already knew Kristen with a strong look isn't consider a nice person to work with as seen on TV at times acting fake humor and stealing the show.

ReplyDeleteDo you people even have Human Resources Departments? From what I read on this blog, it doesn't sound like it.
ReplyDeleteHR is all corrupted in some companies backing up one and letting go another as a set-up. Even if there is a legal issue, the company will pay up if proven guilty and the person who caused this will still stay in office. Unless, they also sue the person for more money. We recently seen this on KGO 7 with a case of a reporter suing the company.
DeleteThen, how does Union representation figure into it? Are these anchors and reports Union members? Do they have a choice in joining a Union or not?
