Breaking: FCC Approves Nextstar --Media General Merger; KRON

I don't think they're partying at KRON --the FCC has officially approved the Nextstar-Media General merger.

Before everyone starts going ga-ga, no, KRON will probably be and look the same for the immediate future. After a few months, watch out.

    Is this station going to continue on like it is with evening news or it will completely change? My best guess is the sub channel will remain the same, only a Chinese channel right now replacing the news station. Seems like TV station always change owners in the Bay Area. KCNS 38 use to be a Spanish channel, right now, Jesus channel. KTNC 42 and KEMO 50 is now Spanish.

    Let's hope the first move by Nextstar Media General is cut the pay of the overweight sportscaster.
