KTVU's Idiotic 'The Nine' Didn't Even Know About The Twitter/DDOS Attack Friday Morning; Silly, Insipid Mikaelian and Mibach Further FOXified

Image result for ktvu The Nine Some of you watch KTVU's uber-insipid "The Nine" which could be one of the worst local TV News segments in the market.

Beyond having no clue of the morning major news events, they're just god awful.

Patterned after the Today's Show's 4th hour, The Nine is dreadful. It wouldn't be so horrid if it just tried to perform a basic function as it is (like normal, useless, waste of time-"features" that are in and out in a nano-second--TV News numb sensations); no, The Nine tries to make you think "they" care.

Hell no they don't care.

The Nine is led by nails-on-chalkboard disaster, me, me, me herself, Countess Gasia Mikaelian, who lost her credibility long ago and acts and sounds like the buffoon she is; Mikaelian embarrasses KTVU every morning but that's nothing new.

Mike Mibach, her co-anchor doofus is not only useless and banal, but uninformed too. Take today (Friday) Doofus Mibach was mentioning some story and said, "gees my Twitter is out, wonder if there's something up with Twitter?" Well, had Mibach simply checked the news he had discovered that, yes indeed, Twitter and many other techies were having issues all morning.

Imagine this! You're sitting at a damn news operation and YOU DON'T KNOW THE NEWS? Real good, Mikey boy, that should get you a prize from the Fox henhouse.

Sal Castaneda is the only reliable talent on The Nine but unfortunately Sal's levity gets washed away by the other two's incompetence --too bad.

KTVU needs a mass deodorant of Fox germs. A TV deep-cleansing but don't hold your breath.

  1. Careful what you wish for.
They could always make The Nine a "Lifestyle Show"...code word for "Pay 4 Play Newscast" that focuses on sappy lifestyle stuff.
    All one giant paid ad.
Butt onjections, bood jobs, face lifts, gardening, hime rebuilds.....all paying for fake airtime, on a fake news show.
It's the hottest and latest trend in TeeVee.

    1. 10:50AM What's a "Hime"? You spoke of hime rebuilds.
1:46 PM: I miss hearing Barbara Simpson each and every weekend. She was taken away from us!!!

  2. I watched CNBC and FBN to see if they would cover the DDOS attack. They did weren't talking about it either. Not CNN or FNC. They all were busy showing Trump speech. One would think a "Business" network would cover it at length!

  3. They should rehire former KTVU anchor Barbara Simpson. She'd kick butt!

    1. The big networks don't want someone to kick butts. They want people who will do what they are told no matter what.

    2. This brings back pleasant and unpleasant memories. I loved Barbara on the radio, the absolute best, 4 to 7pm on KSFO, Saturday and Sunday, still miss her!

I considered Barbara my second mother after my first mother committed suicide. If ever there was a radio host who could connect with their listeners, it was Barbara Simpson!!!

  4. I support KTVU and Gasia for the reliable morning news. I love her LIVE on air and Facebook. What other station is better to watch. Let's see.... Forget KRON 4, KPIX 5 and KGO 7, reporter issues or very hard to watch. I trust KNTV news except it focuses too much on San Jose, South Bay. I do tune to the Spanish station for weather by looking at the picture. Just the other day, I happen to turn to KTSF and don't know when they had local morning news just to catch some weather update, within a few seconds, I tune to another station. Something very unattractive and scary, check it out and you will know why. There is one thing I must agree on, what is up with Gasia wildness on screen like Darya Folsom on KRON 4. The two will make the perfect morning shout match, one on one.

  5. I can't say I disagree with your opinions about The Nine, but at the same time is a real newscast expected at 9am? Would it be commercially viable? I do watch morning news, and only continue watching at 9am on rare days I'm working from home. I thought daytime TV viewers were a different crowd than those who watch early in morning with very different preferences?

  6. Gasia out did herself the other morning while giving the lead in to a story about a new robotic machine for hospitals to sterilize rooms. The line should have been read "R2D2 has nothing on this new machine....." Instead she said "RG3 2 has nothing on this new....."
    Ha!
