Finally, Monday

After two months of a wet tease with enough excuses to satisfy almost anybody, the new, space-ship-like (they're calling it) KGO-TV (ABC7) News Set debuts, a source tells me.

On Monday.

Finally.

  1. The anticipation is killing me

  2. Didn't happen today. Recorded 4:30, 5:00 and 6:00 AM and the same old crappy set. Maybe they're waiting for 6:00 PM.

  3. They should allow Dan, Ama and Kristen to introduce the new studio, not 2 young non-experience reporters to do so. If they allow the young reporters to introduce the station, more selfies and stupid photos making the station look stupid...a waste. Like Dan, Ama and Kristen introduce the station, a respect to veteran, years of professional experience reporters.

    1. I disagree. Looks like a phone center store in some shopping mall, and what "technology" does it have that other stations' sets don't already have.

  7. Wow! A great set to not have to look at!

    1. Agree 100 percent. It's got big screen monitors behind it. Woo-hoo! And that shiny table top is distracting, sort of like a formica countertop in a Verizon store.

    2. The screen size of the monitor in your house is inversely proportional to your penis size.

  10. The set makes Dan Ashley's hair look much darker

    1. ...And shinier. Is that possible??

  11. And you thought KRON's set was too bright, Rich?!?

  12. Yes. Way too shiny and bright. Antiseptic in fact. You need sunglasses. Dan and Ama's hair look an unreal glossy-jet black. All they've done here is upgrade the technology - essentially the set is just a bunch of gigantic iPad touch screens. I realize this is the way everyone (who can afford it) is going, but like with all new "up-graded" technology, this too will be prone to hilarious mishaps and general glitchy mayhem. I can't wait.
