Savage Has Balls; You Don't; Intelligent, Smart, Funny, Radio on KCBS, What a Concept; Matier and Willie Brown; Krasny on KQED: Boring; KRON Studio Cameras: Still Too Close For Comfort; TGIF 415 Media

SAVAGE has Balls, the rest of you don't, it's as simple as that; yes, I'm an advocate. He does good radio --on his worst day, it's 10X better to listen to him than on Ronnnnnnnnnnnnnnn's best day. Ronnnn doesn't do good radio anymore--have you heard him lately? I skipped on KGO long ago because it's turned into an Amazon Radio clearance center.

*Savage pisses a lot of you Bay Area people off, which is another reason why I like the Savage Nation; anything most of you disdain, I'm a fan.

For example, those of you --particularly the housewife society of Marin that call Ronn and bow to him, I have no use for you. But you knew that already.

Ronn has been beautifully dubbed, "Mr Softie"--that's the early leader in the clubhouse.

*This is how bad it is for Ronnnn; he had on his betting buddy; the showbiz turned-blue comic who turned to unfunny blue because his career toppled --Bob Saget. Saget, he, the white Byron Allen.

*Bridge over troubles waters: The print edition SF Chronicle.

*Good radio: the Phil Matier/Willie Brown five-minute nosh on KCBS every Friday at 7: 50. Proving once again that intelligent, funny, informed, interesting radio with SIMPLE conversation and free form trumps stupid sound effects and song parodies.

*KRON, you still don't get it dept. ..Still has the camera too, too, too, Close to the anchor's face --so bad I can see Pam Moore's blemishes and Countess Darya's dimples.

*Here's another thing about Savage: he can go off topic and recite the Scriptures and in the next segment expound on an Indian buffet --try doing that for 10 Million listeners.

*This just in: Michael Krasny used to be entertaining; now, he's just plain boring. Being boring gets you in at KQED.

*The world is coming to an end; locusts are everywhere; cockroaches en masse; but Giants replay on KNBR at midnight, ready to roll.

*One of the blond female news readers at PIX has been put on a gag order and you know who you are, I miss your texts. What? Did Danny boy have it out with you at the Old Ship?

*One of the young bartenders at Grumpy's still laughing over the schmuck reporter at KGO-TV who left a dollar tip on a 50 dollar tab.

*By the way, Savage is neither right-wing nor left-wing; listen up a little before you shoot your mouth off.

  1. Agreed 100% on the good Doctor. I have to laugh when these braindead Bay Area Democrats go off about that which they do not understand....which is pretty much everything.

    1. Well you must be laughing a lot, because those Bay Area Democrats represent the vast majority around here. And they vote, which ensures liberal political domination in the area. Ultra-Liberalism is trending strong with the younger generations, and with non-caucasians of all ages, so it is unlikely there will be any signifiant local conservative surge in our lifetime.

With that in mind, Rick Perry and the Bushes would love to have more conservatives in Texas! Good luck with your move, y'all!

    2. @10:01...please move to Texas or Alabama where you racist ignorant Cons are more appreciated. This is the bay area, your kind is not welcomed here.

    3. Ahhh, the "Celebration of Diversity" expressed in 5:01's post is so wonderfully "Bay Area". It's amazing how much love towards one's fellow humans Bay Area leftists exhibit! So open, so welcoming, so filled with peace...

  2. You realize that the only local names to make the national eye,did it for being big jerks and or idiots? Gary Radnich,Bob Fitzgerald,Damon Bruce,Larry Kruger and Lee Hammer. All made world wide even, headlines for being morons.
None of them get good ratings, but all of them stay on air.
What does that say about the for-sale- sports and sports business opinions?
    All are just infomercial pitchmen.

  3. Krasny WAS NEVER entertaining. And anyone who believes so is absolutely brain dead. But, he does think highly of himself and his friends aka guests - many who he has never met in real life.

My god, he brags about being a professor at SFSU. If I was on the faculty at SFSU, I don't think I'd brag about that mediocre attempt at Higher Ed - I'd say I was on the faculty of DeVry or CCSF. :)

  5. Speaking of Pam Moore, you could see and hear the disgust as she read the sentence of Brock Turner. This also seemed to be reflected among the rest of our newscasters at various stations. Not good journalism and not impartial.

An aside, the young man did get a bad deal. Certainly, in this case the woman is to blame for putting herself in that position. I don't blame the young man - any man who reads or writes on this board at that age, would have done the same thing. No one mentions that! That's the last from Boris today. :)

    1. The poor little entitled white boy is going to get 3 months 'hard time' for dragging a unconscious girl behind a dumpster, peeling her panties off and climbing on her for his 20 minutes of action. Your as full of shit as his father is. If the dude was anything other than white you would be volunteering to cut his dick off and you know it!

    2. I am white and agree with 2:25.

    3. This story is getting so much national airplay because he's white and it fits the liberal agenda.

It is absolutely horrible, however this has gone on for decades at colleges all across the country. 2 drunk people. I see the news online all the time about minorities and the same act, but boy you sure have to dig for it on the national news sites.

    4. Boris at 10:53 you are kidding right, you don't actually think it is okay to rape someone because she is passed out, she put herself in that position you say. Really, since when is it against the law to get drunk, as long as you don't drive or assault someone. Rape is against the law, you think any young man would do the same, just who do you hang out with? Ex convicts, future rapist?? Your comments are so disgusting it is hard to take it seriously. Just in case you are serious, let me pose this question to you, if a young man, or even middle age man is passed out and a couple of females sees this, do you think it would be okay for them to rob him, or beat him (since he is a future rapist, he certainly deserve a good beating). I mean he put himself in that position, so if he gets robbed of his valuable and cash, he deserves, right. I'm female, I was in my early to mid twenties in the late sixties, I was a bit wild, lived on the East Coast in a very affluent community, (no I was not born there, I was an au pair from Scandinavia) I went to several parties and gathering where I had too much to drink as did others at the party, men or women, no one EVER took advance of me. You and your friends sounds sick and twisted.

    5. The guy didn't get off lightly because he's white, he got off lightly because of alumni connections.

Black and brown violent criminals are let out of jail early all the time because "they had it so hard", and sometimes aren't even convicted because it's "racist" to convict someone of a crime they've actually committed if they're "of color"...

    6. @11:25 your being simplistic to the point of utter stupidity.

      Delete
    7. 4:28, the stupidity of your soft-headedness and head-in-the-sand-ness is incredible. You're unaware of the revolving door policy that lets violent offenders out early? You're never read about a violent offender who was released early committing another crime? Never heard of such things happening in the black "communities" of Oakland or Bayview?

  6. Eh,Hankel? To Savage, HeySuess was just a guy -like Henry Ford- who created a really, really, big business. None of that bread into fish stuff. Unless,he had some great chemists on his staff. Although, his customers give higher loyalty ratings then anybody. Except, maybe Toyota owners.

  7. Could we please always have Pam Cook and Brian Flores do MO2? They read the news-they don'the act out the news and they are so professional. Last couple days have been a joy.

  8. Ref The Chronicle Print Edition - Whatever you call the Chron these days in whatever manner it is lame. I laugh when I see the KQED Ads for join the Chron's insider club for full access - for what? I get more news (and so does apparently the Chron) from Hoodline or other local papers like the Merc than from anything in SF. The Examiner is nothing more than some brats misguided thoughts of what SF should be than any news so print media in SF is DOA. If the Chron drops the print editions how are they going to say afloat when the advertisers who stuff the Sunday edition have nothing to stuff their junk mailers in?

  9. Listening to Savage as I write. As I said yesterday its almost a daily ritual. To the libs that just don't get it....if you want your sanctuary city, you can have it. If you want your once conquered third world disease's you can have them. Just ask yourself this....what kind of country will you have without "boarders, language and culture"?? Anser....none. There are only so many appel's in the barrel, how many can you afford to give away??

  11. Rich, you don't have to keep defending or justifying your admiration for Savage.
Ever heard of "doth protest too much"?

    1. I think Rich is a Savage fan, because although they have very different political views, their personality seem to have a great deal in common, although I like this blog, it is obvious that Rich is not the most positive person, also much like Savage, when he does not like someone, he tears them to shreds, no mercy, no mitigating circumstances. Never the less I do read this blog everyday, or at least glance at it, (don't care much about the blogs about sports, but I'm not a sport fan)I don't listen to Savage every day, and when I turn in it is usually for just a short time, so I would say Rich is easier to warm up to than Savage.

  13. >Being boring gets you in at KQED.

I've not listened to nor viewed KQED in years. The TV channel has crap like the Ken Burns stuff. Or one of the last things I ever saw was about the California Condor. Well, I've done my preservation - I bagged an untagged male and it's stuffed and in the garage - a huge sucker. I've a 3 bald eagles too. Lesson? Don't listen to the crap on KQED - we've to realize species go extinct and we should let them.

    1. I love most of the Ken Burns series, no all, but I think he is brilliant. His series on Jazz, the National Parks, and I think he did one on the Roosevelt's as well, just those 3 was outstanding, he did one on baseball, but I'm not a baseball fan, so I didn't watch it. I am however a huge Jazz fan, a huge nature lover, and Yosemite is one of my all time favorite places in the world (and I have travelled and lived in several states and countries) and a real history buff. I suppose you are right species go extinct, but if we can delay or stop it why not.

Now that you have reminded me how brilliant Ken Burns is I have to check what else he did that I missed, so I can catch up. As long as it is not about sports.
