Vic Lee is still on the streets of San Francisco --as a reporter for KGO-TV --which is reassuring because as long as Vic is out there, we're in good hands.
Lee is one of the best street reporters, if not thee best, in the Bay Area. Sometimes we take him for granted. Not 415 Media.
The gentleman has been in the biz since the late '60s. Offhand, I can't think of a more tenured reporter in the area. Consistently great work, and an amazing career Mr. Lee!
ReplyDeleteUsed to see him and his wife having a good nosh at Brothers Jewish Deli in Burlingame way back in the day when he was still at KRON. He's one of the last of a dying breed of journalists. Much respect for him and his work.
ReplyDeleteWe agree Vic is someone you seldom see anymore - one great broadcast journalist!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Vic is going to work through the November elections, then finally start his well-deserved retirement. He and I started in TV the same year, but I've been retired since '13. Vic makes dependable, quality reporting look effortless as he is about to turn 70. Keep up the great work my friend!
ReplyDeleteNice to see positive comments every now and then!
ReplyDeleteVic is the best there is. A very nice guy as well.
ReplyDeleteVic is the man. No one personifies story telling and being a straight shooter better.
ReplyDeleteAnd Vic, like many aging Boomers, will have to step aside whether he wants to or not.
ReplyDeleteVic knows how to cross his T's and dot his I's, its journalism 101. Something that's missing in this landscape of new journalism.
ReplyDeleteLittle known fact about Vic...
ReplyDeleteHe can kill you with his bare hands.
Vic is good, but he's no Mal Sharpe.
ReplyDeleteIf it looks like chicken, tastes like chicken, and feels like chicken but Vic Lee says its beef, then it's beef.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like about Vic is he tells the story as though he was there.
