No one won.... no one answered any of the questions posed to them. All doublespeak and pandering. This was a colossal waste of air time, ESPECIALLY since FUX was airing it.
What difference does it make? Quick...Bill...the FBI is investigating me now! Delete the hard drive! And do what you do best and find a way to spin this!
What a circus of a debate...lmao. You couldn't of round up 10 more out of touch dipshit's if you tried 100 times over. Who votes for these idiots is beyond me. A baggage heavy Hillary wins easily.
@1120am You low information Cons are the children in the room. You can't take any of these clowns seriously. Quite embarrassing, but thankfully none will win the WH. America can't be that stupid.
Lady Carly has crowned herself the new Queen. Donald Trump dealt with the very rude and nasty Megyn as best he could. Megyn was the biggest loser, and will watch her ratings slide.
Carly will eventually find a way to puke all over herself, as usual. And Hillary is working hard to do same.
I agree re: Kelly. Megyn can be a loose cannon at times. Next time, perhaps FNN ought to consider Shannon Bream for that position. Though Bream has strong religious right beliefs, I get the impression that she would at least attempt to be somewhat impartial, poised, and professional.
She single-highhandedly darn near sank what was the world's top tech company when among other things she got HP to merge with Compaq, laid off 30,000 employees, then sent thousands of jobs overseas. Things got so bad that the Hewlett family pushed to pay her $20 million to go away. And she has the nerve to be running on her business background. Unbelievable.
Carly Fiorina ruined Lucent and then HP, then got crushed by double-digits in her US Senate bid. She wants to criminalize abortion, but would munch on baby parts if it gave her political power. In any event, Megyn Kelly, a smart lawyer, is gorgeous, savvy, and knows how to go right for the jugular.. She's perfect! I wish the left had a similarly situated media tv voice.
Right on Christine, like you I lean more to the left, although I'm not a Hillary fan (liked her as a first lady, senator and secretary of state, but her campaign seems stale and forced). Megan Kelly asked some perfectly reasonable questions of the candidates and of Trump, and the right, and especially Trump supporters are crying foul, they are always complaining that the "liberal" media (whatever that is) is too soft on the candidates on the left. As far as I can see they can dish it out, but not take it. Trump and everyone on that stage last night is applying for the most important job in the US and possible the world, and they should not be asked tough questions? Give me a break.
8:42 AM. I agree. I think if Poppy Bush was not still alive, Jeb would not be doing this. He keeps saying and doing things that come close to sabotaging his own campaign. The pressure of a very ambitious and very successful father can weigh heavy, even on a middle aged man like Jeb. He is a Bush, first and foremost. There are Great Expectations. The Kennedys used to have this dynasty syndrome or heir apparent thing going on, too, for totally different agenda. But that was long ago, before the Democrats became almost indistinguishable from the Socialists.
You probably couldn't tell me how they stand on any one particular issue. You're just being the good sheeple that you are and knocking the R and blindedly supporting anything D. Sad.
Donald won. I like the way he stood up to Ms. Kelly. Because she looks good she is able to say things and not be challenged by men. The Donald put her in her place.
You are and idiot and a sexist, Megan Kelly (although I lean to the left) is a smart and capable interviewer. Why shouldn't she challenge him on his comments about women. Whoever the candidate is on either side, will need the women's vote. Plenty of conservative commentators are upset at the way Trump dealt with Megan Kelly. He wants to be president of the United States, and he can't deal with a tough question from Meghan Kelly, without going after her again and again. He is too hot headed to be President, he might drop the bomb on someone who he thinks insulted him, instead of letting cooler heads prevail i.e. like Kennedy in the Cuban missile crisis. Which by the way I remember vividly, I was a 17 year old teen ager in my native Denmark, but we were as scared as people in the US (being close to Russia) could not imagine Trump being President at that time. Yes, the President needs to be tough and show strength, but being a hot head is not the same as being strong.
Not that he would, but the fact that it's more of a possibility might shut some of the idiot nations up.
Reagan scared the hell out of the Soviets, they ramped up their war production and destroyed what little there was of their "economy" and fell for a while. Now that Putin is in charge, we need another guy in the White House that other nations fear, rather than are amused by.
I had the misfortune of tuning in to Michael Savage. He believes Facebook and Fox conspired to rig the debate against the Donald. He resorted to name-calling (Mahem for Megyn)--really creative . . . what a Weiner!
And you, being a Bay Area Liberal, are SO much more creative than him that you didn't resort to name calling, did you? I mean, using his "real" name in the way that you did was just being factual, wasn't it?
First, I'm a conservative. Second, his real name is Michael Weiner--get it? Third, I didn't add that he claimed Fox rigged the positioning of the candidates on stage so that Christie's rotund profile would be emphasized--a preposterous claim since the candidates were arranged based on their poll numbers--most popular in the middle and each successive candidate alternating right and left of center. Fourth, if anything, Savage was besmirching Fox--perhaps a vendetta he holds against Fox for never hiring him. He gives conservatism a bad name.
Pundits declared Marco Rubio the winner. The little bastard memorized about 10 pages of scripted answers and the talking heads loved it. That's what is wrong with politics. Run your polls, focus groups, craft your answers to best fit voters political tendencies, rehearse it like a soap star then deliver an Emmy award performance to a national audience. What this country could use is a non politician, not owned by big money or special interests who has the stones to do the right thing.. Trump fits the profile but is too loose a canon to contend.
Hillary Clinton, arms merchants, military-industrial complex and Wall Street won. That's a no-brainer, as opposed to lack of intellect on the Republican side. (I'm conservative and I'd vote for Bernie Sanders, if I thought voting would change our government).
Who lost? Any country like Libya, Syria, Ukraine and to a lesser extent, Egypt, where the United States funneled money, weapons, training etc., thanks to Hillary being one of the most corrupt secretary of state this nation has ever had ~ and that's saying something, given how corrupt our government is.
Who won? Oh that's easy! America, goddamit!! Yaeh!!
ReplyDeleteSee you at Crazy Horse next week, Mayor...drinks are on me!
DeleteNo one won.... no one answered any of the questions posed to them. All doublespeak and pandering. This was a colossal waste of air time, ESPECIALLY since FUX was airing it.
ReplyDeleteIt will be twice as bad when the Dems run theirs.
DeleteDemocrats/the Democratic Party won....because they/it got to see these KKKlowns up-close-and-personal!
ReplyDeleteI see dumb people. They're everywhere. They surf the internet and post like everyone else. They don't even know that they're dumb.
Delete@10:50
DeleteRinse, lather, repeat.
Ahhhh, the open mindedness of the average More Enlightened Than Others resident of the Bay Area is on full display at 8:57 and 9:07.

ReplyDeleteLmao? Thanks for the input, kid. Now go back to Facebook and Reddit and let the adults get back to our conversation.

Delete"Lmao? Thanks for the input, kid. Now go back to Facebook..."
And yet you knew what it meant. Perhaps it's you who spends too much time on Facebook.
@1120am
DeleteYou low information Cons are the children in the room. You can't take any of these clowns seriously. Quite embarrassing, but thankfully none will win the WH. America can't be that stupid.
4:27, you're quite the paragon of maturity.
DeleteAmerican can't be that stupid? Have you paid any attention to what's been in the White House since 1/20/09?
THE Donald.
ReplyDeleteThis man is well beyond those Republican losers, and he really should run as an INDEPENDENT!

DeleteQueen of what? Failure? Investors haven't forgotten how portfolios tanked with her at the helm.
She single-highhandedly darn near sank what was the world's top tech company when among other things she got HP to merge with Compaq, laid off 30,000 employees, then sent thousands of jobs overseas. Things got so bad that the Hewlett family pushed to pay her $20 million to go away.

DeleteThat 'debate' (chock full of commercials) resembled a Jerry Springer show with well dressed guests.
ReplyDeleteI actually felt sorry for Jeb Bush - he looked old, no energy, and is if the last thing he wants to do is be President - maybe his Mom made him do it!
ReplyDelete8:42 AM. I agree. I think if Poppy Bush was not still alive, Jeb would not be doing this. He keeps saying and doing things that come close to sabotaging his own campaign. Jeb is a status quo dud. His priorities are out of touch with the base and he can't inspire a nation. He's a puppet for the shot callers.
DeletePlenty of people deserve sympathy, why waste it on Jeb?
I agree @ 8:42am...
DeleteJeb looks like his heart just is not into running for President, he had "no" passion during the debate whatsoever.
Papa Bush will rig another election.
DeleteHanging chad's, a couple trips to the courts.
Bet on it!
Fox won. Nobody else carried the debate, aka the Donald Trump show.
ReplyDeleteThe biggest losers are the American people. One of these bozos, or Hilary, will be the next President. God help us!
ReplyDeleteI will vote for a very flawed Hillary before I vote for any of these losers!
ReplyDeleteAnyone but Hillary!!
DeleteYou probably couldn't tell me how they stand on any one particular issue. You're just being the good sheeple that you are and knocking the R and blindedly supporting anything D. Sad.

this is the best comment on here!

DeleteTrump is a bully, when questioned he hides and cries like the true spineless wimp he is...
ReplyDeleteTrump has zero political experience.
ReplyDeleteTrump is a real estate man and leases out the "Trump" name.
He was born into the "lucky sperm club" His dad was loaded $$
What can possibly go wrong with a President with zero political experience?
What can possibly go wrong? We could get another community organizer, I suppose...
