I'd take the picture of McCormick & put Humphrey, Charley, Capt. Cosmic & the rest of the Vintage KTVU Tards behind his slappy ass. Put him in his place!!
Nice to see the late George Reading. He's probably spinning in his grave seeing all of the crap that goes on in Bay Area TV news. He was better off going to Monterey. Based on what's happening these days, does it really matter if you get to a major market any more?
Gary Park on the left, with the perpetual tan, sports anchor as well as the Giants TV announcer on KTVU in the 70's to early 80's.And Judd Hambrick was at KRON,never at KTVU.
I think that Gary's last call on the Giants games was in '87, when they clinched the division championship in San Diego. He went out doing the infamous Will Clark interview in the locker room!

ReplyDeleteWhat's with the hate? Geeeez......For me growing up that was a great time on VHF TV.
DeleteGrowing up we had Suzanne Saunders and a young Leslie Stahl.

ReplyDeleteIs that IbaƱez on the left?? He hasn't changed if it is!
ReplyDeleteAnd I dig Dennis' 'fro.
Come on! It's Gary Park. But I don't think second from the left is George Reading. Unless it's a much older picture of him.
DeleteThe market is irrelevant. It's all about looks on TV nowadays. If you got a pretty face and nice boobs you have a future.
ReplyDeleteGood old Foster and Kleiser. They started in the Bay Area, and were eventually taken over by Clear Channel.
