Bill O'Reilly's 'Fucking Thing Sucks' Makes It On Air On KGO Radio; Latest Moronic Move On Lame 'Drex Show'; (Audio)

The yahoo on KGO Radio, aka: Drex ran the infamous Bill O'Reilly "Do it Live" rant in which Billo goes nuts and utters a few un-pleasantries---oh like this, "Fucking Thing Sucks! (Here's the audio clip right ON THE AIR from Monday Night's broadcast (listen at 37: 20 for the F-bomb)

It's far past the critical stage for the future of this hideous nightly misadventure that KGO and its Cumulus parent has foisted on the Bay Area radio airwaves--this allowance of the F-bomb to make it on the air has FCC implications --you can bet your rent that someone is going to pay the price, certainly an engineer. Maybe the dumbass host who had to know it had an obscenity.

This show has been downhill since day one last week. This is not going to help. Lame as it is and fully indicative of the house of moron that airs 7-10 PM.

  1. Amateur hour! I love the dead air after the moron realizes the f-bomb went on air. He looks and sounds like a major douchebag. What a joke!

  2. "He looks and sounds like a major douchebag."

That would be because he is the biggest major douchebag in the history of radio. KGO has become the douchebag factory.

I don't listen to radio normally at night. But I did tune this guy in for a few minutes one night. He is a huge fucktard!

    1. Tuned in once for 10 minutes and only heard clips from Letterman, Leno, etc

But I never actually heard the guy. I will have to check out the show again.

Hope the format is not constantly playing comedy clips. That is kind of lame.

    2. Is Jim Eason living in the Bay Area?

      Put him back on.

    3. From what I heard, he retired and moved to North Carolina. Then at some point, he moved back to the Bay Area. I guess

  3. Dead air lasted 7 seconds which is the normal length of time for broadcast delay. So somebody screwed up twice...not activating the delay properly but also not editing the audio in the first place. FCC won't do anything to Cumulus. Just like nothing happened to Entercom when "F--- her right in the pussy" aired on 95.7.

    1. Who is Drex's producer? Isn't Karen Reid the board operator on week nights? How does a veteran like her make a mistake like this.... unless it was intentional?

  4. Maybe it's intentional! Anything for the young demo to show up. Which they won't.

    1. Does the young demographic even know bill oreilly? Drex should start doing fart sounds too!

  6. David Weintraub posted a link to his fill in show from this past Friday on his facebook page. I am still trying to figure out why he was not offered a job on KGO. I have tried to find out myself and I've even asked Rich for more info but there's nothing.

    Here's the link.

    1. This was from Rich's website:

*You don't get it: It was NOT about David Weintraub being dumped by KGO; that wasn't the item. It was about the people inside that got him fired. You'll know the full story soon.

I just listened to some of his fill in show for Gil Gross. Night and day between him and Gil. I haven't heard this fellow Drek yet.

    2. Why would Weintraub be offered a job at the station that only a few months ago fired his ass? The guy was relegated to midnight at KGO at a time when it had the least talented talk show hosts in its history. In words, Weintraub would be the equivalent of a bench warmer in today's New York Knicks team, except he works for peanuts.

    3. David is better than the others. Thank you for that link. Making fun at where he started hardly seems relevant and everyone knows he wasn't fired for performance. I'm surprised Cumulus is not bringing him back just to avoid a lawsuit!

    4. Why all the talk about Weintraub? Doesn't this sound like David is talking to himself here just to keep his name in the blogs? I mean, every column mentioning Weintraub? Really? Or is Weintraub one of Rich's pet KGO rats?

    5. 11:01 is spot on. Nobody gave a damn about Weintraub when he was on KGO and nobody gave a damn when he was fired, but his name "mysteriously" pops up here on every other thread painting him as the new talk radio savior. The fact is he couldn't make it at a talentless KGO. Enough said!

  7. Placing Drex in the M-F 7-10 slot is downright insulting both to the other talk show hosts and listeners. He is worse than the average beginners on college radio stations. And that John Batchelor guy is extra horrible coming on at 10pm - he is so monotone that I can't even listen for very long before I realize that I haven't been listening!

    1. I love the John Batchelor show. I learn more from his guests than I do from anyone who is on the air currently.

    2. 11:30 a.m. you are pretty much spot on when it comes to Drex. However, not when it comes to John Batchelor. You are being very superficial in just judging him on his voice, but I guess that is way Michael Savage has so many listeners, many prefer the screaming and hysterics of a host, rather than someone who is not only intelligent (which Savage is), but has a, for the most part, informative and interesting show. I don't agree with Batchelor's politics, but he is still interesting, and he often talks about history, and interesting people from the past. He had a show a few months back, where he interviewed the author of a book about Niels Bohr and Winston Churchill, being Danish I was of course very interested. However, I doubt very much 11:30 knows who Niels Bohr is, (look it up on Wikipedia) might even be a stretch to assume you know who Winston Churchill is.

  8. Didn't Karel get fired for saying the f-word in the background when he was unaware the mic was still on?? Wonder what kgo will do this time?

    1. Karel's rant was much worse than the accidental (?) playing of a tape containing an obscenity; given the vitriol with which it was said, it sounded very much like a death threat.

The exact quote: ""F*** g**damn Joe the g**damn, mother-f****** Plumber! I want mother-f****** Joe The Plumber dead!"

  9. Once again, the only person I listen to is Copeland. I have no interest in checking out new "talent" because this station is hopeless. When Copeland goes, I'm done.

    1. Brian mails it in most of the time. I find his gaggle of comics to be a painful exercise in poor radio. When Brian is on a topic he can be really good but he seems to not care about the radio program. Why should he? Just got passed over for a guy named Drex who is awful. I don't think Brian is amazing or anything but when he tries he's solid. Karel, Thurston, Monty, Matt Ray, they were all bleh to me.

  10. I thought I heard that, but I had a tough day yesterday and was well into a bottle of wine by the time he came on the air. That clip has been played to death on TV and radio...a f--BEEEEP--ing Youtube search of "Bill O'Reilly We'll do it live censored" would have found him a radio safe version...I just found one...took about 4 minutes.

  12. DreX and a board op and/or producer are lucky. Since the Dickey's made over $125--mlllion YESTERDAY just in selling the transmitter real estate for WMALam in Washington DC (but not the station) and even more for the transmitter site for KABCam in LA last week, the Dickey's are in a good mood and could give a dame about a couple of F-bombs. Or a DreX. Or content. KGOne is a sad shame

    1. So what? The dickies' cumulus is still BILLIONS of dollars in debt. $125 million is probably a monthly interest payment. The dickies are the type of morons who'd buy the monalisa and draw a mustache on it "to appeal to the younger demo". I put a hex on them for ten generations. May the dicky name live in infamy in perpetuity for destroying the greatest talk station in history!

  13. For a station that has been irrelevant for the better part of a decade it sure gets a lot of discussion on this blog. Does anybody under 35 even listen to AM radio any more?

  14. The F Bomb must really have Deb Monroe's panties in a twist. She's the resident priss who brags about being a Catholic school girl and gets all worked up over words like "sucks" and just about any on-air reference to bodily functions.
