  1. I approve of Del Rio, another Hayward gift to the world. What he needs is to get is somebody who knows how to move the ball down field for a OC. Del Rio know's D, He certainly knows Raider tradition. He's taking a job Harbaugh should have had years ago. That time has passed for good. Or for now...
Tomsula? eh...Jed must be hard for a 50 or 60 year old who's been in pro football near all his life to respect. That's whats going on in 49erland. He must say and want things they laugh at..Nolan-Singletary- Harbaugh. I bet not one was impressed by Jed.

    2. More on "Celebrity Worship Syndrome" which explains Stan's obsessive-addictive fascination with Gary Radnich.

    3. Wow, that actually is a real disorder. Fits Stan to a T. Just like Rupert Pupkin in King of Comedy.

  3. 49ers got rid off ALL assistant coaches except for Rathman. And they will "Assist" Tomsula with replacing the staff. I can see the puppet strings from here...

  4. What a joke the 49ers organization are.
They hire a in house company man who will be a total puppet who will not make any decisions on his own.
    Sad day for 49er fans.
What moron would even buy season tickets to the 49ers games.
Jeb York destroyed the 49ers forever.
Jack Del Rio will be loved and admired by the Raider Nation
He has always been a Raider since he was a kid.
Look for the Raiders to win the AFC West every year and reclaim the glory that was once theirs.

  5. The big problem with Allen was that he couldn't/didn't recruit a great staff. The jury is out on both of these hires until we see who the coaches get to join them.

  6. Oh, Lord. 9ers have become the Cowboys West. HC is a company man, owner thinks ego equates knowledge, QB has some big games issues. OTOH, Tomsula has a winning record as HC: 1-0. I think Del Rio won't suck, having learned a few things since his last gig. Both will depend on who they surround themselves with. Let's revisit this in about a year.

  7. Totally different topic - did you notice the Examiner thought it was appropriate to curate "the best of social media" in the wake of a suicide at a BART station that created delays. The paper adds a weak condolences disclaimer but it seems more interested in generating clicks on its website. Also telling is that no one owned up to a byline, it simply says "Examiner Staff." http://www.sfexaminer.com/sanfrancisco/best-of-bart-tweets-from-the-delay-this-morning/Content?oid=2916754

  10. Tomsula, DelRio ok, fine. BUT what we all are going to miss are the awkwardly inappropriate press conferences and media quotes from Harbaugh. all the the 'turkey, turkey gobble gobbles' etc. Harbaugh was a real local media star here and his whacky characteristics reached far beyond the football field. i think that's the major loss for all of us media addicts here in the Bay, sports fans or not.

  11. Del Rio is Polished, Professional, Confidant, and Articulate, everything that the 49ers Head Coach isn't...
