  1. Oh man seeing Wilson and Chavez brought a tear to the eye. That's how a pro handles a tough situation. Compare that to snot gate or f them up in the pussy gate. This video makes all involved extremely likeable, endearing and human. I recall a column by Bill Mann at the Tribune back in the day about Giddins. Guy was supposed to be a pain in the ass at work and he liked to work out alas Dennis Richmond. Would've been great to have them arm wrestle for charity at their peak.

  2. He was very good but he had a huge ego and was a Diva. But give him his due...Pete Giddings lasted for well over 20 years( I believe) at KGO.

    1. I can only imagine how Lloyd would have handled that, while waving around one of his silly pointers.

  4. Giddings was a serious enough weightlifter that had a profile done in Muscle & Fitness, or one of those bodybuilding magazines, back in the late 70's or early 80's.

  7. Bay Area media n residents are such wimps when it comes to weather. Try the North Coast n Southern Oregon. There usually was more rain i one winter in those locations than the five I've experienced in the Bay Area. Yeah. I know. The drought. Coastal flooding. Urban flooding. Mud slides where houses should have never been built. As one person who lives in one of the northern areas I just mentioned, this storn is "wussy weather." I have experienced more power outages in Silicon Valley than I did in nearly half a century living in rural communities on the North Coast -- the real North Coast that foes not include the Central California region of the wussified Bay Area and it's mostly inane weather guessers who are overpaud and, for mist, have been replaced by weather apps. TV statios are just figuring this out . They should devote mire to real reporting n not flashy oromis from the likes of the South Bay's laughable TV " investigative" unit that takes itself WAY TOO seriously.

    1. Why don't you go back to the rural swamp you came from? Take rotvg from Danville with you and you two can turn each other on bashing the wussified Bay Area. Also learn to spell...

  8. Coincidentally on the kgo 11am news the bottom scroll went wacko showing a second line of text overlaid and offset making the whole thing unreadable.
