  1. Its gets worse. Comcast simulcast doesn't have enough advertisers to fill the many KNBR breaks. SO,what do they do? They run stats with very annoying synth music that loops every 3 seconds...and do that over and over. An ice pick to the ear. And Comcast has its own breaks that don't match up with the radio show. Everyday at 11:48am,even if Radnich is in a deep conversation about his religious conversion to Krukology...Comcast fades away and kills the final 12 minutes with commercials - as he speaks. Some days I want to know more about Krukology . I feel cheated.

    1. Maybe some day Stan can explain why he watches the Radnich simulcast on Comcast.

Stan, as we all know, hates Radnich. SO HE WATCHES HIM EVERYDAY DOING HIS RADIO PROGRAM. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. And is if that isn't sufficiently insane, STAN COMPLAINS ABOUT THE MUSIC DURING COMMERCIALS. Stan, if it's "an ice pick to the ear," DON'T WATCH!

And finally, as if Stan's comment isn't idiotic enough, HE'S COMPLAINING THAT HE MISSES THE FINAL 12 MINUTES OF THE PROGRAM.

Stan, you're complaining because you're missing 12 minutes of a radio show you hate because you're stupid enough to watch the simulcast on television when you could be hearing it all on the radio except for the fact you can't stand the show in the first place so why bother listening or watching.

Most insane complaint of all time....

    2. Spot On 8:17. Too bad Stan has proven that he does not have the ability to comprehend his reading nor grasp the irony.

    3. LOL @8:17, It's hysterically funny and true. That lunatic Stan is complaining that commercials are interfering with his ability to watch and listen something he can't tolerate.

Like that old joke, the food is horrible and the portions are small.

    4. You know, you're reading all that I write, and getting upset by it. So,who's the lunatics? Your not even on the fringe.Your are THERE!..lol.
Btw..As all of the haters posts are so similar and redundant and sound like homework from some intern...whats the real point? I do what I do. And plan to do more. Been like that for years.
How's the A's Record since the Cespedes trade? Comprende?

    5. I can explain why any posts about what I wrote is wrong is never made. I get it,you with help from Rich for his own reasons, want to do character assassination. KNBR and KRON people spend time going over the same ground like they found a nugget.
I repeat since I never know if even my best comeback makes it to this blog, most of those posts never mention what I wrote,or ignore the other posts by those who agree with me. So,I know a character assassination plan when I read it. Its ok, They don't like me and I hate them.

    6. "I can explain why any posts about what I wrote is wrong is never made."

Stan, go back to school, get that high school degree, and learn how to write a coherent English language sentence.

    7. If Stan is concerned about "character assassination" on this website, he should stick exclusively to his own "popular" blog where he can exercise complete editorial control.

  2. Just commercials, or does this number include updates, news, traffic, etc? Seems 37 is pretty high for commercials only.

  3. There isn't a single compelling program on kron so the commercials aren't really that annoying.

  4. I've noticed this for years. Ronn too. How can you possibly keep interest on a topic if you talk for 5 minutes then have commercials for 5 minutes, rinse repeat.

  5. It's really 60 minutes because they spend the non-commercial time kissing up to the San Francisco Giants. They can never do wrong according to The Sports Bleeder.

  6. Why am I not surprised? The other 23 minutes of programming is usually filled with frat boy jokes and idiot callers who spend time fawning over the Giants. And then on the weekend, we have the three-four hour Giant gab fest with tired old Marty Lurie, who wastes time talking with that idiot P-Con, who sounds like he graduated from a zoo.

  7. The nerve of them to interrupt a FREE program with commercials! Pandora does it too, but at least I have an option to pay and not have them.
Same thing with people who bitch about ads on SFGate or another site that they are watching for free, complain about having to pay for premium content as if commercial free is a gawd given right.
I'm more bothered by advertisements shown before a movie being shown in a theatre, or on premium cable.

    1. It's not that there are commercials, it's that there are too many commercials. I can listen to KNBR in the car because I can switch channels easily, but at home, no. --bks

  8. I keep tuning in to KNBR to listen to commercials--but I keep getting cut-off/interrupted by sports talk.

  9. how many stupid voice guy promos can they possibly run in an hour? it's hard to listen to that station. they're using knbr to pay for the other 4 stations

  10. I would rather listen to commercials than Bob Fitzgerald...

  11. 37 minutes? Why not just push it to a full 60 and end it already. Last 6 times I logged on in my car from 3-7pm, no content. Was something other than the host or co-host.

  12. My Saturday contribution: Ted Robinson doing a PAC12 game. But not Stanford. Is that sidestepping or has the two week suspension gone by?
And of course lets add- I was right again. Local sports hosts are republican with conservative views.

    1. Stan's Saturday contribution is as confused as all his others.

Ted Robinson works for the PAC-12 Network. He hasn't been the radio voice of Stanford football for several years.

    2. Ahh, a typical stan 'post': (this is a comment section, his 'posts' are on his unread blog) 1. Poorly written with incorrect grammar - Check. 2. Inaccurate - Check. 3. Name calls someone a republican - Check. 4. Claims he was right - Check. 5. Off topic of Rich's post - Check. Why is cluttering this site?
