  1. People loved to make fun of the Disco Era, but I enjoyed it immensely. A lot of fun music came from it. A lot of people enjoyed dancing and being together. As with many kinds of music, the best tunes were often very simple in composition. It was the orchestration, percussion and the quality of production that made it special. Donna Summer's Love to Love you Baby was quite well produced and performed. A perfect blend of R&B with European affectations. We could use fun, positive music like that today, free from cursing and gratuitous violence.
