It sounds as if Janks got flustered that she didn't react and just went onto another question. He should've had more material. No need to call her names. Not funny at all..
In all fairness, I'm sure she wasn't expecting a prank call from one of Stern's followers. She was expecting a real source. That stated, her follow up question shows she wasn't listening at all and wasn't very quick on her feet. I am definitely of the liberal persuasion and watch MSNBC but their propaganda puppets are definitely as on pundit auto-pilot as Fox.
I am surprised it went on after he said the Howard Stern part. I would have hit the commercial button (or anything else at that point) to shut it down.
And this dumb bitch isn't a blonde from the University of Florida, either.
What the fuck do you think he saw, you dumb ass?
Are you just looking at a bunch of questions and not listening to the man?
Do you think good looks, a low cut blouse to show your rack and a pretty voice are enough to get you a network gig? Maybe on Comedy Central, but not on a real news outlet. But then again, are there any left?
This is on a different subject, but what is going on at KSFO, I tuned in at 6 p.m. to listen to John Batchlor, I like his coverage of international affairs, and certainly he is better than the 4 hour of Gil, and this being Friday Rhoda. However, John was not on instead there was a repeat of Levin's first hour. Curious minds wants to know.
John Batchelor is boring. It is true that he covers international affairs better than anyone else in the business, but every night he and his guests go on and on and on about Iran and China and Russia. And when he is not talking about current problems with those countries, he brings on a guest to talk about past problems, again with Iran and China and Russia. And on top of all that, he refuses to take calls from listeners! If KSFO is considering cancelling his show, I say good riddance!
He was on later yesterday, I guess at 9 p.m. sounded like they repeated Levin's only show. If they cancel Batchelor, who will they put instead? Many hosts these days are boring, some because they are predictable, Savage, Rush, Hannity, others because they don't take calls Gil, Frosty Joel and Corey (they are the worst) for the most part I find Batchelor interesting.
The producer should have dumped the caller and gone to a commercial rather than hang her out to dry. Good to know that Stern's audience uses a major tragedy to differentiate themselves from the rest of the freshman class at the local community college.
An extra hour of Levin is worse than an eternity with my former mother-in-law. Although Batchelor may get into some topics I don't pay much attention to, he usually has at least an hour to three hours of engaging news/commentary. Case-in-point: Israel, Russian Federation/Ukraine, etc. I like Uncle Savage except when he goes off his meds and starts talking immigration and President Obama. (no, I didn't vote for Obama but I give him the respect he deserves because of the office he occupies, as I would expect Democrats to do with a Republican, except neither side ever does. It's easier to hate.)
I have little use for MSNBC because they are so liberally biased, but that so called pranking by a full grown man was just mean. There was nothing funny about that. Why should she expect someone to chose this time to play second grade baby games on the air? I would not think that much less of her for this. He will get his in the future, that is my hope. She could have said "May you get hog tied, sat upon, and heavily maced in the face by TSA next time you travel by air. Krystal has spoken!!! "
11:11 nice to hear someone who did not vote for Obama, but don't think he is anti Christ, was born in Kenya, or what other idiotic label many put on him. Actually it was not an extra hour of Levin, seems like they repeated his entire 3 hours, I did hear Batchelor later on. Some on this blog think he is boring, although I don't often agree with him, he sounds very intelligent, and does a sober analysis current events, without shouting, screaming and demonizing the other side, very unusual in todays political environment, which is probably why many don't like him.

Way to go for the cheap, easy, and obvious joke. I expect nothing less of you.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm sure Mom is disappointed too. I guess I'm just as flawed as all other humans, except you.

DeleteI believe the woman you may be thinking of became national Democratic Party Chairperson.

ReplyDeleteGreg Gutfeld/Fox News Channel: "Her name is Krystal Ball. She should have known."
ReplyDeleteShe really does have some bobble head action going on... :o
ReplyDeleteHow do you think she got the job?

ReplyDeleteNever understood why tv networks would take a live phone call over the air. Why not tape it and un it back three minutes later?
ReplyDeleteOr a 10-second delay. Even that should work.
