  1. Ha, it's Lloyd as a young Pup. He is a natural Ham performer. So then he's always been this way. Adding Espresso powder to his bowl of Captain Crunch.

  2. You just brought back memories of living in Southern Ocean County NJ watching Channel 9 as a teenager....

  3. I've never seen Lloyd before, young or old. Is he part Amercian Indian? Just askin. He's able to have fun with the dry science of meteorology. That stage presence can't be easy although it can be learned.

  5. Looks and sounds a little like a young Charley Steiner (if Steiner were on speed). LIke the Rodney Dangerfield style tie adjustments!

  6. Lloyd Lindsay Young is one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to me in the broadcasting business. I worked with him briefly a few years back and he's a real good guy and lots of fun to talk with, about anything!

  7. I can still laugh out loud just thinking about Lloyd using different pointers each night when he did the weather here in the 1980's. The one that comes to mind is the small missile he could hardly lift. Many people probably hated this comic aspect of news programming, but it was certainly entertaining. I'd love to see more of his 1980's shtick on video.
