  1. Despite some good talent and the fact that they now have both the Raiders and the A's, (not to mention the Sharks on the one of 'family of stations,' the Game is still a relative unknown in the bay area. The problem is the signal. I live in Marin and it comes in poorly there. Isn't there any way they can increase their wattage? Otherwise they're going to continue to fight a losing battle. Right now they're the 25th ranked station in the bay area market with a little better than a 1 share. That's not impressive at all.

  2. I'm liking The Game more and I suppose a chunk of that is D. Bruce being over there. His new show is actually an alternative to Knibber at that hour, where it didn't feel that way for whatever reason on 1050 at noon. I didn't know what to expect of Aubrey Huff but he must be good because he's making even Chris Townsend tolerable. Towny, the hopelessly forever 2nd rate b-level talent in sports radio. I'm pleasantly surprised by Aubrey Huff.

and I like Papa and that other guy too...it just confounds me someone would invest whatever money into The Game and settle for such a crappy FM signal.

How bout getting a sister station or something for the North Bay, like the Sharks do for their games on 102.1 and 98.5. I know they're not sports stations but still...do something.

  3. I bet KOIT wishes every month was Christmas. Look at that December number!

I agree with the above. The Game has decent content that can go head-to-head with KNBR. But that signal is killing them.

  4. 910am KKSF has lower numbers than KGO? Daaayuuuuuuum! I guess the Frosty and Gross tandem is putting others besides myself to sleep. With any luck Tom Leykis as a fill-in will bump up KKSF about 0.0000000000001%
Leykis on his show today said Gross "never takes calls but I will take TONS of calls on Friday". That alone is reason enough to tune in. Take notes Gil...

    1. Leykis says he has something in store for Michael Savage on Friday. Apparently they've taken shots at each other in the past. Leykis claims when he used to go head to head vs Whiner in SF he had better numbers. Let's get ready to ruuuuuuuuumbleeeeee!

  5. No surprise that KQED is number two. The bay area a higher percentage of people with advanced degrees that any other major market in America, and well educated people prefer public radio and not the brainless tripe that is heard on most other stations.

    1. You mean a high number of brainless liberal sheep who hug tree's.

    2. It's "trees."

    3. The smart folks with advanced degrees listen to kqed while the anti-intellectual conservative tea baggers listen to Brian Sussman do fart drops on the morning zoo. While a hag cackles in the background...

    4. Here we go again, a guy who can't spell calling educated people brainless.
      Classic.

  6. These numbers are useless without breakdown. Guarantee the game advertisers prefer their rating compared to kgo/KSFO. Kksf just sad.

  7. It's a no brainer-- KKSF has NO SIGNAL in the East Bay ......Hello ?
Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, Livermore, ETC.
Daytime is extremely weak. At night, it's GONE.
    Totally gone at night.
