  1. If KSFO was sold before the end of April, on average, how soon would we know of it? Immediately/ overnight? of not till the next fiscal year began? Maybe that's why they keep the Morning Show on, even in it's present mutated, misshapen form. They're just treading water until the inevitable.

Has anyone heard Melanie Morgan on her new station KSRO? I cannot get it over here in Marin. I would try to tune in online, but don't know when she's on. I think she's pretty much a news reader this time, no commentary yet.

They (whoever "they" are) says she will do reading and be news director-whatever that entails.

  2. The teaser is a great idea! But I'm scratching my head over the expired parking meter and the caduceus.

  3. A's going to move again radio it seems like they have been on every am station in the bay area.Raiders should have stayed on KGO or 1050 instead of the weak staton of recent years.

  5. Listened a little to Katie and Sussman this morning. I can't imagine that either of them will be able to get another radio job. Sussman much be a real moron, to think at he will attract listeners with all his moronic sounds, which seem to become more and more frequent. He couldn't mention Mickey Rooney without having some weird sounds. He was talking about Hillary Clinton, and kept asking the engineer can be do this sound, or this. He must be trying to attract 10 year olds, certainly no sane adult, no matter their political persuasion will be able to listen to this crap. Which by the way is his favority word.

    1. You have a strong stomach to tune in to that crap. I only hear the promos of that "show" during the Savage Nation. My God! Sound drop central. It's like Sussman had never heard of drops so he's drop crazy. It seems every other sentence requires a drop in his demented mind. Time to throw his ass out. I bet if a poll was taken, Karel is more popular than Sussman. That says a lot right there..

    2. I stopped listening to them some months ago. That show is not for people like me anymore. I had to let go of old habits. Otherwise, within ten minutes, one of the hosts on KSFO says or does something stupid, and I'm back to using Maalox as a coffee creamer. A&G for me, followed by Rush.

    3. To 8:58 you are so right, there are a lot of hosts these days I don't care for, Karel for the most part is one, nothing to do with political persuasion, just talent, and Sussman must be in the gutter. Thing is I and probably many other listeners have e-mailed or posted on facebook exactly what we think of Sussman and his moronic show. I don't think the give a crap.

  6. The Raiders are constantly moving around from radio station to station. When they returned to the bay area in 1995 for six years, they were on 'Young Country' (KYUU) for two years, then for the next seven years on KNBR 1050, then they went to KGO, then it was KFRC for three years and now it's 'The Game.' Basically, Al Davis didn't care who carried his teams' games, and Mark Davis pretty much feels the same way. So don't be surprised to see them continue to constantly change radio stations. Unlike the Niners who were on KSFO for 27 years, then KCBS for six, then KGO for 18, and now on KNBR for the last last nine, the Raiders will continue to move around much more freqeuntly. One of the reasons why they still haven't gotten the kind of bay area fan support that the Niners have received. It also didn't help that they moved to LA for 13 years, turning off a whole generation of potential fans who jumped over to the Niners. Now, so many of the folks who go to Raiders' games aren't even from the Bay Area any more. Yes, they have more of a 'cult following' and have more fan clubs around the country than practically any other NFL team, but how would you rank them in terms of popularity in comparison to the other Bay Area teams? It's 1.) Giants 2.) Niners 3.) Warriors 4.) A's and 5.) Raiders, and the only reason they're ahead of the Sharks is that hockey has never, nor will it ever, enjoy the kind of universal popularity it enjoys in the north east or upper mid west.

  7. You are incorrect sir. The Raiders were never on KGO, the 49ers were. The Raiders were on KSFO then moved to Live 105.3

  8. Actually, the Raiders were on KGO but it was back in the years 1976-84.
