    1. Good job, but I believe you transposed the name of the North Beach club...it is/was "The Hungry I".....

  5. Great show. Loved the chemistry between Malden and Douglas. "Hey Buddy boy!" was what Malden's character always would say to his younger co-worker. I was going to school in Colorado during that time, and would watch the show whenever I got homesick!

  6. The mega-talented Pulitizer Prize winning composer and two-time Grammy Award winning composer Patrick Williams did the theme from "The Streets of San Francisco" along with so many great jazz compositions. He is known as a major theme creator for many movie soundtracks, television and his own compostions. A great talent.

    1. QM productions were very educational. It's where I learned what an "epilog" was.

  8. We are so fortunate to live in or near such a Spectacular City.
We should be thanking our lucky stars!

Anywhere I've gone in the world...
If you say you're from San Francisco...you get respect!

Anyone else remember, almost fifty years ago?

  10. I forget just how similarly Streets of SF and Police Squad started their show. Since I've got Police Squad on DVD, I'll be off-Japanese Garden, indeed.
