More Mail Monday

I've been overwhelmed with your questions which is fine--keep 'em coming and I'll try to answer as best as possible.

Monday has been busy. Enjoying the weather. God, it's like in the 70's and feels quite nice. I know eventually we need some rain but I'm a sunshine guy and this is about as nice as it gets.

  1. SO Rich,as you continually post "anonymous" incredulous that Radnich would know of me..why don't you tell them he sure does? During the truce phone conversations,I'm sure I was mentioned if not a few other times.
Radnich reads your blog, but he doesn't know of me? THAT'S crazy.

    1. Stan, I find you sort of funny and hilarious ..but try to keep down the volume every now and then. Capiche?

    2. I got you..but then again, not one gets posted if you really didn't like it. There is no direct line from my pc to online on your blog. I know the crazies are grasping at straws, but still, you are the moderator.
      But,ok..less volume.

    3. Yeah Stan, we're all sure that Radnich "knows of you." And of course you were mentioned during those historic "truce phone conversations."

Just wondering Stan, what is it you imagine Radnich mentioned about you?

    4. Radnich to Lieberman: Do you know anything about some sicko named Stan who keeps following me? Do you think he's dangerous?

  2. You know of any way to hear KFOG's Dave Morey on the radio or internet anymore?

    1. Morey's retired, and true fogheads have moved on to other frequencies/sources for musical enlightenment. Try KRSH-FM's Bill Bowker, non-commercial KVMR-FM, or KPIG-FM. And Shoutcast can direct you to adventurous music streams. PsychedelicJukebox.com and SuperBluesRadio.com are two interesting examples of free high quality onlline offerings...

    2. Our dear, but not departed friend Dave has had a pretty fascinating radio gig for a few years now. I had been listening to him "live" on Sunday mornings, though I have not in the past few months. He even occasionally takes (and plays) requests by Twitter. (My last one was Peaches in Regalia, by Zappa).

A Google search for "WTF Harrisville" should point you in the direction of what you seek. Merry Christmas, please share this "gift" wisely, as Magoo has purposefully chosen semi-obscurity.

  3. Rich, you're a little scary, truly. You oscillate between "Fuck you, I'm sick of you, I'm sick of everything, I'm mad as hell and am through taking prisoners!!!" to "Have a nice day and keep on commenting."

    1. rofl is that Stan under a different name? Or is someone making a clever attempt to copy his name? Either way that made me laugh. Thanks!

    2. Jeckyll's Hyde, your comment about Rich's "oscillations" is actually quite accurate. Agree it's bizarre and truly a little scary.

  5. Hi Rich,

I strongly believe in helping foster children but is is there something fishy about all those SleepTrain ads encouraging donors to come into their stores. What is their policy about trying to sell mattresses to foster care donors? Is SleepTrain paying for the ads?

  6. Hey Rich, Ever think about teaching a media course at, say, SFSU or CCSF? You'd knock their socks off.

    1. I'd say the chances are slim and none but sure place my name in the hat.

    2. Those who can do. Those who can't teach.
CCSF would be perfect for Rich since it's slated for closure!
