So the snobby Rich Lieberman, who is so troubled by the silly crap on radio and television these days, is enthralled by a minor slip of the tongue which results in a someone saying a vulgar word on television.
Everyday when DJs play "Cunt-ree" music on the radio, no one gets offended. Is there "Sum Ting Wong" with that? Or are "Wi Tu Lo" as a society these days to chuckle at our missteps? What the "Bang Ting Ow" is the matter with you humorless Bay Area people! Ya' all just take life to seriously!!!!
Reminds me of why I so enjoy Roseanne Cash. She put the "tree" back in country. I once had a similar tongue slip on KPIX, while doing the weather. Prior to the broadcast, Andrew Hill and Jan Hutchins and I had been talking about an overtly sexual new song. Then, in the middle of the forecast, I commented that the temperature in Novato was "currently sexty-nine". No career in broadcasting is complete without a few of these missteps. yes?
That's not even a word.
ReplyDeleteNice racker though...
That's funny....HA!HA! HA!
ReplyDeleteThat's the very same Fox station that Kristy Siefkin moved to last year.
ReplyDeleteReminds of the racehorse "Cunning Stunt" who had his name miss-pronounced back in the day..
ReplyDeleteWhatever.
ReplyDeleteOMG! Now I've had my off days...
ReplyDeleteIs that Darya Folsom's Sister?
ReplyDeleteYa know, there is nothing more frustrating than pulling out of a, ehrr, pulling out a dull pair of "box cunters"..

ReplyDeleteStay classy Rich!
