  1. KGO How the fuck do you get beat by KBLX?

  2. KGO must have set some kind of national record for fewest ratings points per wattage.
It looks like KCBS's ratings have actually gone up since KGO also went "wall to wall" news. How does that work?

    1. KGO and KKSF 910 Yu No Ting. So disappointed in 910, didn't think they would become the new KGO, but thought they would have some decent programming, Frosty stinks, Gil even more so, because he use to be better, like the banter between Sebastian Koonz, Lloyd Lindsay Young and Gil, other than that not much worth listening to. The advertise all local radio in the afternoon, but without local callers who cares. I do listen to Alan Colmes, but he is syndicated. Like Bill Press when I have insomnia (960), some of KGO's host's are still good, but they are mostly on week-ends.

KGO even beat-out KSFO with all their 'Hate-Radio-Histrionics".

  7. KGO will probably get a bit of a ratings bump with NPR's cancellation of "Talk of the Nation", which used to air from 11 AM to 1 PM, M-F. Should definitely help Ronn Owen's third hour ratings.

One has to wonder what these modern-era radio execs are thinking. Like NPR's decision to cancel a perfectly successful, informative, and well-liked show. KGO's switch from News-Talk to mostly all news, another example. Are these execs purposefully trying to get people not to listen to their station?
