    1. ain't that the truth. Let's face it, this is the 21st century. If you are in the 0.01% who still doesn't understand that the N-word is not acceptable (especially for non-African-Americans), then you are stupid and need to be fired.

  5. All media personalities who are white must know that in any controversy involving race the only way to walk away relatively unscathed is to be 100% apologetic about your remarks. Anything that seems as if you are making excuses, or any statement that begins with "You just don't understand what I'm really saying..." won't cut it!

  6. This is stupid, but oh so predictable. The Left, which uses the race card ALL OF THE TIME is on their high horse pretending to be deeply offended and injured too. I'm Black, and I'm not upset at somebody's private ramblings. Just the other day, the head of the Chicago teacher's union said the real reason their Chicago Mayor has to close so many schools is due to the 'greed of Rich White People".Guess what, she is till the face of the Chicago teacher's union. This is only one smiddgen of an example on how the same people who insist on using that term to describe their black friends still pretend to 'get their dander up' when someone who not black does it. Understand one cannot co-opt the English language. It exists for all reguardless of color. If they're truly shocked and troubled about Paula Deen having used the n word 20YEARSAGO!! they need to tell Jayz to stop making millions by including that term in his babbling brook of rap 'songs'. This is so foolish, it may be the 'jump the shark' moment, the reoccurring death knell for that GD Race Card.

I watch certain programs on the Fox News Network on a daily basis, and have for many years. If Deen were aligned with Obama, or Nancy Pelosi, or Al Franken, there would be repeated "mock indignation" dramas on O'Reilly, Hannity, both Fox and Friends, and other programming on that network!

  7. Give me a break 11:58am. You sound like one of those 'ditto-heads' that listen to that fat windbag 'Rush-bo' who is nothing but an angry hate-monger. Guys like Limbaugh and idiots who listen to his drivel are making this country a much less tolerant place to live.

What has the right wing and what do the Republicans have to by so angry about anyway? Their side doesn't believe in science, they want to turn the clock back on womens' rights, and they parrot the frightening tripe that Koch brothers puke out every day.

No wonder this country is going to the dogs!

    1. No, I am most certainly not a "ditto-head." I have been an Independent for 33 years, and have voted for both Democrats and Republicans.

I don't watch the Fox News programs because I have a blind devotion to their "message." I do, however, have an objective interest (to a point) in their method of propagandizing. And I don't understand your interpretation of my previous message and associated position, as I was actually slamming FNN for their hypocrisy. The point I was making was the FNN programs would have presented their stories differently if Deen had different (liberal) political affiliations. The quote at the top was from the message I was responding to.

With regard to "Rush-bo," I can't stand him and don't listen to him. In fact, the only conservative radio I listen to is bits and pieces of Michael Savage on YouTube. Though I often disagree with Savage, I find his opinions on medical issues to be iconoclastic and thought provoking.
