  1. I think John Shrader and Bruce McGowan both got bumped at KNBR about the sametime. Did John say "You can't fire me, I quit?" Seems to me that is how it was. Both Bruce and John were missed. I look forward to hearing from him again.

    1. Bruce was very good doing Giants pre and post game broadcasts pre Mary L. Marty has had him on a few times since that time. There have a been a few guys in between Bruce and Marty.

  3. Every man in her life so far has to have boasted "I dates Ama Daetz". She can't stop it I'm sure.

  6. A new week. Rich starts out fine with his first guest and almost gets good at the comfortable interview with John Schrader. The Lance Armstrong interview was good. The mention of Keith Olbermann was good, but after 40 minutes, the hour started diving into repetition and shallow unpreparedness. Rich talks to himself to hear himself. Again, no phone calls. Questions too long and convuluted stepping all over the guests responses. Hour two, John Kinkaid. Captivating thought repetitive. Shallow after the Armstrong interview which Kinkaid bailed after 45 minute. The third hour was a disaster. Why does Rich have an almost sick passion of being passive-aggrressive with women anchors and reporters? He takes up so much time trying to hit on them that shallowness hits rock bottom. In fact, it is embarassing to listen to time after time. Next time, Rich, get the guests name right and too many "cute and attractive" mentions make you sound like a masher, not an interviewer. Look for dates? Do it on your time, not your listener's time. How about those non-phone calls?

    2. I'm surprised Dick Lieberman did not censor your comment. He must be feeling a little more confident than in the past couple of weeks. Amen to everything you wrote. I want to cheer the guy on but he manages to continuously shoot himself in the foot. His Pepe Le Pew schtick is tiresome. I bet he censors this comment too....

  7. Good interview with Ama Daetz! It was interesting how she felt about the industry as far as how it is for women compared to men, and how social media has been a major player in the media, and just in general. Kind of surprising that she doesn't like social media as much, but I guess I can understand that since she's in the public eye being a newscaster, and she probably comes in contact with a lot of people already. That's cool that she likes her job overall though!

LOL at her liking Carly Rae Jepsen. In a way, I could see that. haha... Ama Daetz seems like a fun person to talk to though. Man, I wish I could run into women like her. She's cute and is a fun person. Her husband is a lucky man!

I'm sorry Rich, but yeah, you did get kind of creepy asking her about being a cute woman in the broadcasting industry and stuff like that, even though I guess people wanted to know about that. Were you trying to hit on her Rich? LOL. I don't blame you though. She is cute, and it's not everyday you get to talk to women as cute as Ama Daetz.

But yes, overall, good interview Rich! Like I said, Ama Daetz seems like a fun person to talk to, and she does do a very job broadcasting the news on weekends!
