  1. Two more great shows coming up this weekend. LIEBERMAN LIVE never fails to deliver and it just keeps getting better. Great radio!

    1. Where do these fawning sycophants come from?

    2. I've always believed those "GO GET "EM, RICH"-type comments are actually written by Rich himself!

  2. Lieberman Live is Rich Lieberman leading us through the dark forest of ignorance, confusion, and conflicting information. Rich, you more than meet our expectations. You have a sharp wit, the keen insight of a media insider, you have your finger on the pulse of what the audience needs, and you have terrific guests. There's a future in talk radio and you're showing the way. I'd like to see you get picked up in national syndication.

  3. I'll be listening both nights.

  4. Ask Sal about his Sal "Bonecrusher" Castaneda days on Live 105. Those were some good times for music radio.

Any word on when last week's podcasts will go up? The podcasts will probably be my main way to listen.

  5. When are you going to interview DANA KING? That's what would really move the needle for you. You should get her on tonight or tomorrow night to spill the beans. Come on, Rich. Let's see you really work your magic and prove to your relentless critics and pandering syncophants alike that you really can deliver on your promises.

Waiting for the breaking announcement: DANA KING on LIEBERMAN LIVE tonight.

  6. What are the chances that, if I post a scathingly critical review of Lieberman Live and he posts it here, I will be sued by Rich for defamation? Will I then need to "lawyer up?" Just wondering.

    1. Thin-skinned Rich wouldn't post negative reviews of his little radio show.

    2. We've all seen some sharply negative, even ugly and uncalled for critical comments posted here that somehow managed to slip through Rich's filter. He can't be as "thin-skinned" as you say he is. Belittling Rich's "little radio show" does nothing to enhance your stature or credibility, my friend.

    3. True. He hasn't posted my review because I struck pay dirt. It hit a little too close to home.

  7. Lieberman Live won't hit the bigtime until it books the one and only Henry Tenenbaum.

  8. I just realized from that photo, Ibanez sorta looks like Joe Biden.

  9. Less than 60 minutes to go before this weekend's first installment of LIEBERMAN LIVE begins!

  10. COLOSSAL F*#%K-UP TONIGHT!

    Why aren't you on KOMY???

Instead, we're hearing this old radio program -- Act II of the Sharpshooter staring James Stewart.

    Again, I beg your indulgence."

  12. I am on the verge of enlisting the services of a class action attorney to go after the Zwerlings for emotional distress....I wait a whole week to hear your show only to have ”Gremlins” break my heart. Rich, we love you but more shows like today and I may go back to Karel.

  13. Billy and Rich kissed and made up tonight. :)

  14. Another grrreat show tonight. Lieberman pushes our minds to the limits.

    1. There were a few problems at first, which were beyond Rich's control, delaying the broadcast until about 15 minutes before 9; but, that aside, last night's show was the best yet.

    2. Not as great for others without your limitations!

    3. */*/*/ LIEBERMAN LIVE IN PERSPECTIVE /*/*/*

Our expectations were so high at the outset that Rich's new radio talk show was destined to disappoint a few. Yet, it's a truism: You can't satisfy all of the people all of the time.

Even Rich's harshest critics must concede that, in all candor, they've been listening and will continue to do so.

The upshot is that Lieberman Live--taking in account the good, the bad and the ugly--is the best of the talk show format.

What's more, Rich has promised to keep making it better and better, and he's proving himself a man of his word.

So... To his critics, I say, put your weapons down, hold your fire. Time out.

  15. Rich:
    Take this to heart.
You're not perfect (no one is).
You suck much of the time.
But, you're becoming a twice a week must keep appointment for me, nonetheless.
    Why, you ask?
Because you offer up something creative and unpredictable.

  16. Rich: A word to the wise. You keep saying you have "great" guests, which is true. But, then, after you've finished interviewing them, you turn to hyping your show by saying words to the effect that "if you think these guests are great, just wait til you who I've got lined up." I know you mean well, and your intention isn't to denigrate any of your guests. However, if any of your guests are listening (and they might be), how do you think they're construing your "best is yet to come" remarks? Trying to be constructive here; not taking a cheap shot.

  17. About two months ago, my best friend introduced me to Palm Beach broadcasting’s 97.9 WRMF and that has been my # 1 radio station ever since. I’m always locked on 97.9 WRMF for the best variety of 80’s, 90’s and today’s music. Check them out www.wrmf.com.
