Election Day Random Notes, 415 Media Style

RANDOM NOTES:

Most Bay Area TV and Radio outlets plan the usual "team-coverage" election coverage, among them, KCBS, with its wall of local reporters all the way from the city and East Bay to Southbay precincts.

Star political reporter, Doug Sovern, will highlight the coverage which begins at 5PM ...KGO plans its own coverage, and KQED will run local reports with national cut-ins from PBS....TV: KTVU, KGO-TV, KPIX, and KNTV, (NBC Bay Area), and KRON all have special election coverage tied around its network coverage which begins in earnest around 6 PM...The big cablers: CNN, MSNBC, and FoxNews will, of course provide wall-to-wall reports and early predictions. Speaking of which, all the networks, including cable outlets have an agreement NOT to call any results until the polls close.
