TV, Radio, Internet...dishing dirt since 2001
Hey, at least you see this on Fox .... but not on MSNBC or CNN much less the broadcast networks.MSNBC or CNN screens out EVERYONE that doesn't talk the Obama line.At least Fox News brings them on ... when they start singing their own song & agenda ... So Long!!
Ikr...Everybody wants to poo-poo FOX NEWS Media Cable Outlet, but FOX has the Highest Ratings of all the Cable News Outlets. That means that not "only" Republicans view FOX, but Dems, and Independents also!FOX NEWS, for the longest was the "only" news outlet reporting on Benghazi, & the 4 brave Americans that lost their lives over there. Good grief...so much for the Mainstream Media's reporting, and the "people right to know."
Yeah, Fox News pulls great ratings. So does Honey Boo Boo, which also caters to morons.
7:01....Fox hammered the Benghazi for one main reason and that was because it was the only thing that they could hope for to make Obama look bad and help Romney win the election. Fox had political motives. Both CNN and MSNBC covered Benghazi and they continue to do that, but they are not trying to make it a scandal. I agree with Tom Ricks on this. Also CNN does not screen out everyone who does not talk the Obama line so it's clear that you don't really watch anything but Fox which is really too sad. By the way, the election is over and it's time to calm down. As far as the four Americans that lost their lives, Americans on both sides of the aisle grieve their loss and want to see our diplomats with better protection.
so funny...they sure gave Tom Ricks "the hook" pretty quickly....however, Ricks seems knowledgeable and a few sentences went a long way to get his point across...hooray for Tom Ricks.
Yes indeed....Mr Ricks is a "good" Democrat, carrying the President's company line. That "Benghazi was No Big Deal!"...SMH.
Who is Tom Ricks? Who cares? We have a dead U.S. ambassador and four dead Americans who were left for dead. Who's politicizing or acting as the wing of the Democratic Party? Every network except Fox News!Good grief! Here's the rest of the story . . . http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/tom-ricks-fox-news-network-michael-clemente-394165
Glad that you chose as your resource a really reputable media outlet like the Hollywood Reporter.Great job! Not.
Tom Ricks is a respected Pulitzer Prize winning former reporter for the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post which is why Fox had him on. It is unfortunate that Fox "News" censors opinions and not only cutoff the interview but then attempted to smear him afterwards. It is also revealing that Fox "News" disseminates the message to their viewers that no one else but Fox "News" is telling them the truth so they should reject anything else they hear, see, or read from any other news source.
9:19 today, both MSNBC and CNN had reports on Benghazi and had Republican congressmen give their Republican talking points. I care about who Tom Ricks is and obviously due to the viral spread of his 90 seconds on Fox, so do a lot of other people. He is smart, knowledgeable and has the cajones to speak the truth.
I'd like to have a heads-up as to which way Mr. Tom Ricks swings politically...Because it appears that everyone that is in the Dems camp seems to think that Benghazi "Is No Biggie." I'd be curious to know if Mr. Ricks would be feeling the same way if the current President was a Republican....hmmmm.
Of course this is the Fox mantra. Anyone who disagrees with them must be an evil liberal.
The same Repubs who said Obama was taking too much credit for killing OBL are the same idiots who want to blame him for EVERYTHING that happened in Benghazi. It is all political. Good for Tom Ricks, he is right.
CNN doesnt screen out anyone. They need the ratings.
Where were these 'patriots' when Rove and Cheney outted Valerie Plame? Or when the warnings about 9/11 went unheaded? Doesn't fit the right wing talking points. Tom Ricks is a true journalist who knows the story better than most. If you don't know who he is, put down the remote, get off your ass and do some research. I'd say think for yourself but thats oxymoronic...like FOX news. And just because FOX has the highest ratings doesn't mean they lead the world in objectivity...they just lead sheep.
Thanks to Fox News, the story is getting the proper attention. The handling of the full story by the administration smells of cover-up for the sake of the reelection of Danger Mouse. Susan Rice spoke very forcefully on all the Sunday news shows that the incident was a random event spurred by a video that no one ever heard about. She left no room for possible terrorist involvement (despite her recent back tracking denial). Ricks dishonest read on this is the typical Demonrat response and his take would be precisely the reverse if it was Condoleezza Rice in the hot seat. By the way, it is likely that the haughty John Forbes Kerry will get the nod and not Susan Rice. Wrong again, Get off the stage Ricks!
Fox "News" desperately promoted their cover-up angle to prevent Obama's re-election. IT DIDN'T WORK.The Democrats could have done the same thing with Condoleeza Rice, putting her in the hot seat after the phoney Iraqi WMD intelligence that was manipulated to rationalize Bush's unnecessary war, but didn't.There was no coverup by Susan Rice. Even your beloved General Petraeus said as much (unless of course you believe crazy coverup theory 2).Time to go back to your favorite ridiculous theory that Obama wasn't born in this country.
I do find Fox's reaction to be somewhat stunning. When you see someone challenge the credibility on-air of MSNBC or CNN, the host usually ask for them to substantiate their claims and explain their thinking. On Fox, they give them the hook and then the head of the programming goes to do damage control? Weird. I could see a flack giving a "we stand by our reporting, or the full details of the attack remain under investigation" to reporters seeking FNC's reaction but to have a VP do it? Almost makes you think Ricks touched a nerve or Murdoch got involved.
The above nonsense is not worth commenting on because instead of 'taking care of business,' the Republican Party and Fox News (run by gazillionaires who are only interested in making money and not serving the public) simply want to 'stir it up.' As long as the right wing, angry extremists, who have ZERO reason to be angry, continue to politicize incidents like the fire fight in Bengazi, we'll continue to have no understanding, and less chance of solving our current problems, because we'll continue to elect numbskulls who deny science and make outlandish accusations. Americans are more divided than ever because big money owns the TV networks (CNN, CBS included) and could care less about responsible journalism. That's been the case for the better part of the last 15 years, and that's a big reason why so many Americans have such a skewed view of what's going on. Every try picking up a newspaper, listening or watching non-commercial educational TV or NPR, or reading some of the posts on the internet and coming to your own conclusion? That's what responsible, engaged American citizens do. Watching 'talking heads' give only headlines and highlights is not the way to learn what's going on. And most of these TV anchors want to keep their six figure plus jobs and attendant celebrity status, so they're also trying to keep their bosses happy by making subtle political observations that mesh with people such as Rupert Murdoch and Donald Trump. It's truly a sad commentary on how irresponsible our mainstream media has become. Sensationalism and posturing over balanced and responsibly journalism. But typical of an age that mirrors another disgraceful period of American history: "The Age of Shame" (1870s through the 1900s) when Robber Barons and their ilk ran pretty much had free reign in this country.
