  7. Why is no one talking about Armstrong and Getty being pulled off the air for expressing frustration with the Jihads without a Cause.
They have been SUSPENDED since this Monday for suggesting folks make an anti mohamed video, load it to Al Jezeera, with the hope that they (rioting radical muslims) would eventually become desensitized to it as we Americans Christians have gotten desensitized (to some extent) to the same.

Who cares about yet another article complaining about soon to retire KGO hosts not living up to our privately held expectations. That's yesterday's news.

    1. Nobody cares about Gordon Getty or whatever the hell their names are! It'd be great if those two idiots were dropped and Rothman brought in. That would be worth reporting....

    2. I think it was more than"expressing frustration". I'm guessing they have no clue that the Koran mentions Jesus Christ as a great prophet, actually more times than it mentions Mohammed. Islam, in fact, greatly respects Jesus Christ with much more reverence than say, Judaism. If you owned a radio station and one of your hosts thought it would be fun to play with fire that could bring harm upon your station and upon your person and which would inflame ignorance, what would you do? It's all protected speech in the sense that the government can't stop it, but would you. As a station owner or operator, the first amendment wouldn't affect your staffing decisions.

    3. Christine, good points.

If I were starting a religion, its life instruction would consist of two points:

      (1) Do unto others as you would have them do unto you; and
      (2) Just because you CAN, doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Everything else (in your Bible, Koran, Torah, Bhagavad Gita, etc. etc.) is just filler.

    4. They were not suspended. Know your stuff before you hit the keyboard.

    5. Rothman's a bore. Armstrong & Getty way better ratings.

  8. I miss John Rothman and Gene Burns, and agree with them much more than I agree with Armstrong and Getty, however I find A&G perfect for an a.m show, if they were more liberal it would be better, but I find their mix of personal stories, jokes, interviews (with someone from the right and left) perfect for morning listening. When John Rothman is on, I like to pay close attention to him and his callers, my morning routine, which involves waking up, shower, making breakfast and lunch, does not allow for that, therefore I like A&G's format. Besides I like listening to someone from the other side who isen't always 100% predictible, anyway they are back on the air.

  9. christine how come someone like you bash the Bible. then kiss the Koran. I'll tell you why because if you bashed the koran, you probably end up dead. I'm no fool I wouldn't bash the Koran either. so this is something we agree on Christine.yahoooo
p s I wish I knew how to surf as well as you do.

  10. I really enjoy Alan Colmes show even though the hour is not great. Maybe he can replace A&G since his show is funny and smart and morning is a good time for that. However, I can tolerate bits of A&G at times. Would like to hear Christine Craft more regularly since she is always interesting, smart and thinks out of the box although she sometimes pisses me off. Also, I like John Rothman, but not in
large doses as he reminds me of Eyore (of Winnie the Poo), lovable, but kind of a downer...still John is well informed and needs a bigger spot on radio.
